Quail Hollow update looks amazing!!! Seems the mini is performing flawlessly so far. And that was a crazy low round. Should have kept going and gone for a 59! Thanks for posting!
I am thinking of this unit vs the bushnel launch pro. I like the fact you can use GSpro and other software. Seems like foresight restricts you with other software.
As always excellent videos… Would you be able to show how it would work for left and right handed people playing together… how simple or difficult it is to go back-and-forth, are you able to play the entire hole as the right hander and then the left hand person can play the entire hole or do you have to go back-and-forth with flipping it around for each shot. A lot of left-handed people here in Canada Thanks!!
Thank you! I think the software you are playing is going to switch automatically for you but I can test it. Also, most software now allows for the “finish the hole” option or to switch which player is up.
Glad you played the updated course. It’s one of the best on GSPRO now and IRL. Question regarding the camera feature. I have the GC3 and would love to be able to see the ball contact with the clubface. Do you know if it has the ability to do it if FS decided to add it to their software?
I play everything and none of them a ton due to so much testing and reviews so honestly I’m not the best to answer. But, the facts are it’s all personal opinion on software. Gspro is really solid for sure as you can see.
I have a mevo plus pro package on my sim right now and just can not get the putts and very short chips to act right. Everything else is great but man this eye mini looks like the ticket. Can you give me some insight on where to order? Looks like it’s on sale right now
@@joesti7607Awesome, sorry I missed this originally! For some reason I get alerts on some new comments and not on others. I try my best to keep up! Glad to heard you are enjoying the new launch monitor!
I’m deciding between the QED or Eye mini. I don’t mind paying a little more if the QED is worth it. I like the minimal all delay when you swing with the overhead QED. What are your thoughts? Is it worth it to spend more? Great video and thank as always!
My partner continues to sell a lot of QED. It’s a great value still for those who don’t mind the marked balls and applying stickers to ball of choice is actually quite easy. It comes down to personal preference and budget for sure. I still have my QED!
It’s not up to the launch monitor it’s the software. The launch monitor just read the ball data you are producing and the software takes over from there. It will never be real especially for sand. But they do a pretty good job deducting power and take off LA or LD depending on the lie etc.
Awesome video! Quick question...if you were to have a putting strip going down that right side next to the EYE MINI, would a putt be monitored correctly if at all?
I just sent you an email about pricing, but in the video during your first time putting on hole 2, you mention that the putt is going to play 11ft. It's listed at 18'1", with a stimp of 11 and 7" downhill, you said. What's the formula you're using to say it's going to play like 11ft?
have you heard anything more from uneekor about their upcoming software updates that they showed at the pga show? i cant remember what it was called. like gameday or gameplan....
They are working on the software and hope to have it out asap but no set date at this time. I will be sure to show it as soon as able! Thanks for watching!
Great video and nice round! I am looking to upgrade from my Garmin R10 and after thinking about what is really important I conclude that it's really accurate ball data for all clubs including putting. Do you think the Eye Mini is as good as the GC3 for ball data including putting? Honestly, I would also love to have as many club data parameters as I can, but the trade off for that data vs price just doesn't seem worth it with a lot of devices. If the ball data is accurate then I can practice my swing to get the desired shot just like they used to in the old days before data was available. I want a device that I can play simulator golf on with GS Pro as realistically as possible. In your opinion is the Eye Mini the most cost effective device for that purpose?
Hi John, I have put the unit through a lot of pieces and I do find the ball data to be really good. They did have a few firmware updates in the beginning that fixed a few little bugs. If you want to shoot me an email, I’m happy to do a comprehensive comparison with you. Also, I can connect you with my partners for the best pricing, etc.. a98cr125@gmail.com
There was mention of a barometer for altitude. Do you know if it has an accelerometer to compensates for being unlevel? My range and backyard has some slope.
I expect to be playing with both left and right handed players, how does the Eye Mini and GSPro handle that. I understand the Mini will have to be moved to be in the right position based on player setup but are their any other considerations? Are Uneekor profiles used in GS Pro or can players just be setup in GSPro only. Does shot data during play get stored back in the profile of the player in the EyeMini. I am really interested in this monitor because of the View feature for clubs including putter and may be reaching out to you with additional questions.
Well my ball speed tops about 170. I’ve shown this data / examples in the channel quite a bit. I find it comparable and they dialed it in pretty well the passed few firmware updates like the did with GC3 after launch too. I have had a few people send me a few pictures showing some odd data but one was using big white tees indoors which can cause issues and the other just looked like an algorithm carry like GCQuad has as well with low spin carrying a little long. I’ll do some more videos soon to show it more if that helps 👍
Great question. I don’t know it that well. I’m a 6 but tough to say without knowing how I’m playing that day. I was swinging we this round. Maybe 80 🤷♂️
Was debating GC3 but for $3k less and these graphics I’m starting to think otherwise. Which do you believe has the edge? Do these graphics show on the iPad as well or has to be through PC? Does the Mini connect wirelessly or cable to get connection?
These graphics are for GsPro a 3rd party software. It’ll worth with both the gc3 and uneekor but you need a pretty good gaming pc to get the graphics your seeing here in the video!
I think it will come down to some personal preference probably more budget related. But it will depend on how good the skytrak club data is I think too.
