@@TheCod3r I've got 2 as well, plus my father uses his for a pocket stuff holder on his counter. Nothing rolls away, and doesn't slip when he grabs it. He's an older guy now. He just forgets what he puts in the three little cubbies. Pennsylvania USA checking in, BTW.

I giggle when he says "POOOWR" I also use a VPN, so sometimes it may appear that my views are coming from Manchester or Dublin. What is the camera you use? I'm guessing its a camcorder like Vince.

@@TechGorilla1987 most Americans hate our accent 🤣 I do like big Clive his stuff is amazing. I actually use my phone, I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and for a mic I use a Røde Wireless Go lavalier mic, but hooked up to my mixer instead of being wireless and then I sync the audio manually (to within one or 2 frames) during editing. I record in 4k but then usually downscale it to 1080p :)

My ps4 slim, got the bundle that had Spider-Man, HZD, and....I think another? Anyway, playing codmw, it gets preeeeetty warm to the touch, but its still quiet (as quiet as it was day 1). Should I take it apart and clean it?

Hi, I have a ps4 pro, it has blue light, but in a weird way, I turn it on blue light for a few seconds and it makes a noise seems to be popping something inside (1 time), then I can hear hdd turn off then start again after a few seconds it clicks again (sound inside), does it infinitely, what can it be?

You can yes but it needs to be done using a bench power supply and has to be drawing at least 1amp of current to really be able to see anything

damn i took my ps4 slim to get repaired and they said they couldn't because the motherboard had water damage. did i get scammed for my ps4?

I have a liquid damaged 1215A PS4. It is dead to the world with corrosion and shorted caps around a small chip. It's on the top left corner labeled BD7764MUV. It's one of the 3 IC's under the small plastic cover. Small BGA package I believe. I can not find any reference on the internet for this chip. Any hope of finding a replacement and fixing this PS4?

Yeah the 7764MUV is the BDROM controller. You will find them on Aliexpress quite cheap, but if you find a donor board for any board 1200 and onwards that IC should be there :)

Where were those 2 vias going then, on the other side of the board they didn't seem to go anywhere, I'm guessing they went through the middle of the board, I'm wondering why the vias go all the way through the board when they don't go to anything there

I'm not actually sure to be honest, but they may end up as an internal trace deep within the layers or they could go under the battery terminals somewhere. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say most likely as an internal trace because the fan is controlled by the southbridge chip, or they may go to the usb ports. When the southbridge fails a common symptom is to have no fan spin and also no front USB ports so they must be linked somewhere

@@reacey yeah there's a 5v supply coming directly from the southbridge as well as a 3.3v (that could either power the fan or disc drive), 1.8v (presumably cpu) and 0.8v (presumably ram). I would assume the fan takes between 5v and 12v though depending on how fast it needs to run, I may do a little test to see what voltage it takes depending on the speed and also try and follow the line back and find out the nearest components on the line

@@TheCod3r the Nintendo switch has a similar setup, the charging circuit for joycon charging and the fan are on the same 5v line, iv had a switch with a shorted out fan controller ic (the one in the fan itself) which shorted out the 5v line, and found that the joycons wouldn't charge with the fan plugged in. Gunna binge watch all your videos.. I do alot of tinkering, I'm an electrician but since my backs got so bad I'm thinking of trying to make some money out of my hobby, getting faulty stuff is harder than it seems though, especially on ebay, so expensive for faulty items, thanks again!

@@ItsHaHa5359 it all depends what is wrong and the model of console you have. If you need a quote first I'd need to know the model, for example is it a ps4 original, slim or pro. Prices vary because part costs vary depending on the model. The cost will come up as £0.00 on the website, but if you want to use the contact page I can give you a price range which will give you a minimum and a maximum depending what is wrong. Once the booking page has been filled out it will give my address for you to send the console to along with the booking sheet which will be provided for you to print and include with the console
