Just to inform everyone, Todd Dennis compose Black Dawn’s soundtrack. Tommy just owned the company who Todd worked for. Good job Todd Dennis! Tommy just took credit for composing this songs in Sonic and the Black Knight. Even tho he didn’t even compose it.
Tommy Tallarico did not write this song. His company's name, Tommy Tallarico Studios, is in the credits. I believe the person who worked under Tommy Tallarico, Todd Dennis, wrote the music for this game, including this song which would later be remixed in Sonic and the Black Knight's Molten Mine. This stage's theme is one of the contributions Tommy would tell you he made as "the first American to ever work on the Sonic franchise." If you asked Tommy himself, it's likely he'll tell you that he wrote this song. He did not. Todd Dennis did. I believe the artists that did the work deserve to be remembered and not the CEOs who piggyback off of their former employees' work
Sonic 1 had Americans working on Sonic's character design. And Sonic CD had an American work on its music. I just watched that hbomberguy video, crazy how deep the Tommy lying goes.
Both versions are equally good. Original version has that 80's action movie vibe, while Black Knight version is more suited for impending Blaze battle.
Sonic and the black knight is one of the best Sonic games with one of the best soundtracks! I always knew tommy was a bit of a lier but i never know he actually reused a song his company made for black Knight... He's entire story is so wild... It's a good thing molten mine is such a great song!
I love this so much lol. Molten Mine had always been one of my favourite Black Knight songs and to see this is just amazing. The tune suits both moods perfectly :D
I remember my dad used to play this game when I was little... and I even listen to the whole entire epic sountrack in my car, but this track was not in there! This game has EPIC music!
This is a catchy song it gives me crackdown vibes for some reason if there was ever a crackdown tv show this should be the theme Also I know it’s from sonic and the black knight
It's an original piece of music done by Tommy Tallerico. It also appeared in a slightly different arrangement in Knockout King 2000, which makes sense since both games were developed by Black Ops Entertainment. Dunno why it's in Sonic & The Black Knight, though.
@@Takimeko Todd Dennis is the person who composed it, but Tallarico pitched it to Sega as his own song and Senoue remixed it, as he actually "worked" on the game (he was originally contracted as a programmer, he actually didnt compose any song).
@@duelmasteryuya1205 if it came across as that, it wasn't my intention i was more or less questioning why SEGA remixed a track completely unrelated to Sonic
Jun barely even changed the track, aside from the new guitar leads and new instrumentation. I was thinking the refrain at the end was an addition from him, but no. That's in the original as well. Tommy must be that good.
