Thank You! Years ago I was looking for a rod holding, tackle belt and never found one. There was a company that sold one called 3rd grip and they closed many years ago. No more stock anywhere. I enjoy the videos you post. They are very informative. I love to surf fish. Unfortunately, I live in Arizona.. so I go fresh water fishing . It's not the same. I will be going to maui next year , around this time and would like to know what are the fishing regulations on the beaches. I catch and release. Even salt water. Perhaps you can give me some feedback on Island fishing , or better yet give me information on individuals who would guide me to fishing locations. Looking forward to your next video.
Here In Hawaii you can keep what you catch as long as its legal size. Just that some fishermen's choose to release them back in the ocean to repopulate the fish or they do it for the sport. To find someone to guide you to fishing location may be difficult because most fisherman tend to keep it a secret, unless you know someone very well here in Hawaii most times your on your own.
Hey Dennis sorry about that people been asking me the same questions. The past weeks I couldn't go out because I had certain priorities that I had to take care of. And the days I could run away the weather was bad so there been a lot of bad timing. But now that I took care of what I had to do I'm hoping to now be able to go out. Been itching to go for awhile now so don't worry round 5 will be coming soon. Thanks for checking in.
Haha good point! I failed to share that all my gear can be released with one click away just in case I fall in. Also I stay away from the edges and I take my back pack off once I get to the spot and I only leave the belt on but its easy to detach just in case. And I still have my floatation device for emergencies. But yes need to be very careful.

I'm debating if I should. Lots of people don't like to hear or see. One of my videos I edited the Obake wave that we encountered was so unreal makes you not want to go fishing ever again. And I'm not talking about the freak waves that you hear and people call it obake wave. I mean the real kind that you hear only from the old timers the kind that has a spirit attached to the wave and it comes for you. The real kind.
lol I know. But I don't think its something that most people want to hear. Some of my videos I had to edit out the scary stuffs so people wouldn't freak out. I almost posted a scary vid but decided to take it down even though I had proof on vid I felt it would freak and scare people from fishing although it would have been an educational vid of scary things that happens here in Hawaii. Oh well maybe one day
Yeah the last one we encountered an Obake wave that was trying to going for us and my fish. The Obake wave had no idea I had my gopro on so I filmed the whole thing. Spooky crap to see a wave chase after you.
