I lived in Berlin in the 60s and was absolutely fascinated by the four-leaf inward swinging door assembly on the BVG's Büssing buses. These weren't bifold doors but four separate leaves that were flat when closed but stacked when open - no hinges, just clever connecting rods.

Do we need an air tank for air inlet/outlet ? If not necessarily ,what happens when we use an air tank ; is it going to operate much faster ?
