tea/coffee dries out the mouth and gives you the pasties. Use water with a sour additive (lemon or apple cider vinegar) which drastically cuts down on mouth noises.
😂 good one! The chains and loud jacket take the cake! But seriously the best tip of all in my opinion has to be finding a space to record where there’s little background noise. There’s nothing more awkward than telling a guest to look for a better recording space at the beginning of an interview :0
That's where a lot of this script came from. Those first 15-20 minutes where you awkwardly ask your guest if they have a better mic, headphones, or a space without background noise are the worst.
Of all the emails I've gotten with video tips, this is the first one I've watched simply because of the throwback. Great job! Our "podcast" is just a sermon recording, so not really a podcast at all. Therefore, we don't utilize most of the tips.
