Tadej Pogačar pushed impressive watts at high altitude on Col du Galibier, dropping his arch nemesis Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel. Juan Ayuso, Joao Almeida, Primož Roglič, Carlos Rodriguez and Mikel Landa were in the following group. Pogačar won his 12th Tour de France stage and became the new GC leader after Richard Carapaz lost 5 minutes on stage.
