Conor snapped in this interview. It was like an ending to a movie where the hero defeats the villain but leaves them alive and just walks away and the villian starts spouting a bunch of delusional stuff
It really does make me sad that Conor left MMA at his peak for boxing. It stunted his growth & made him even more one-dimensional, flat-footed. Lost out on so many more fights & really did set him back in the octagon.

Disappointed. The fight ended pre maturely and shortly after I also broke my foot in a similar fashion, also falling back and rolling my ankle. Not something you want to experience

One of the most crushing ends to a trilogy ever.. A legend's chance of redemption crumbles while he leaves doubt and insecurity of his legacy and his future in the sport as the sport passes him by while at one point, gave the veil of being bigger than the sport itself. As fight fans, this is not how this should've gone down but could you have asked for a more interesting outcome?

Was a disappointing fight/ending but an even more disappointing lead-up & post-fight. Everything was so dark & anger-filled from Conor that it made me not wanna watch the pressers/interviews.
Seeing him and RDA get into it made me sad we never got that fight, especially when they were both champs. That woulda been epic to see 2 badasses in their primes, especially since Alvarez was a much easier matchup for McGregor.
Connor thought his humbleness in the second fight caused him to lose, so he deliberately switched back to trash talking, but he failed as you can see in the press conference, he got agitated and aimed for reporters, it wasn't spontaneous anymore he couldn't keep it up together and eventually lost the fight and sportsmanship. it was the end of an era.
I remember exactly where I was when watching the pre fight press conference for this one. I was at a seafood place getting food and I got my food and sat down and watched it. I remember laughing hard when the pink suit guy got Conor mad 😂🤣
@@zebrom7994 Pretty sure connor has an app or brand called "Mcgregor Fast", so Dustin changed it to "Mcgregor sleep". Apparently it was meant to come out like "Mcgregor fast asleep" but dustin fumbled the line a little
He looked really insecure by the insults. Then when Dustin returned with “cus you got knocked the fuck out” then “mcgregor sleep line. You saw how it hit him hard

I'd love nothing more than for McGregor to come back & go on a run but 155 is a bad division for him. It's filled with durable, versatile fighters both things he struggles against

Conor fans are majority children in their adolescence and broke white guys. They talk about his money like it is their own when defending him. Telling people "how much are you worth, hater"? Then you find out they're a short order cook, or stock shelves. Defending him like it magically makes it their money! 😂
@@bat300- Conor is the most overrated fighter of all time by a land slide. Yes, he had a run at featherweight in the UFC. You can't even be considered into the conversation of 🐐, when you never even defended a belt. How does a so called champion not even defend the belt once? It's an absolute joke in combat sports. Conor is the hero to immature adults that live with their parents and kids that don't get disciplined by their parents.
Dustin dominated Conor more than Khabib in their 3rd fight. Khabib was angry and aggressive which worked for his advantage, but Dustin was just dismissive during the build, didn't respect Conor's ability/power and literally broke him in the cage. That type of loss is VERY hard to swallow.
@@dmag1234 if he could've he would've, he was not able to hold him down the first couple of rounds and even lost a round. Why did he submit him in the 4th he could've beaten him up for the entire 25 mins?
@@1daboi100 he said before that he want to make him tired and tap , he stood and traded with him for the 3rd which was not apart of his gameplan but his personal choice then submitted him a round later. Conor did better than expected to stop takedown but khabib wrestling is another level
I like the idea of this channel, I feel like a lot of this media gets forgotten after the fight is said and done so this is a good way to look back at all of it
@Darren Reddix He gained money but he lost his sanity. The more money he got the more he was partying and consuming coke and alcohol, and it made him worse of a fighter. I don’t think gaining money is worth losing all that.
Str8. To say u have no ego is str8up unrealistic though. Gotta have some ego in this game. U have to think u r the absolute shit. But to achieve the fine balance of staying humble....while thinking no one can touch u should be the goal i believe. Conor reached that goal at one point but yeah, now its jus str8up ridiculous.
Conor Mcgregor made me appreciate LeBron and Floyd (as competitors) more. They got the bag but still compete like they are broke and hungry. Conor lost his edge.
Fighting is such a different ball game respectfully. While I agree these guys are born with a different kind of rage. It's cage fighting and if you know anyone from the uk/Ireland who's about it you know that it never goes away. The kinds of wealth he received from where he was would fuck anybody up. Floyd had a big team who babied his growth. LeBron is a savage but plays in a vastly different sport. I think conor was destined for a big fall from grace with all these factors considered. Hope his demons stay hush for him and his families sake.

Dustin was well on his way to finishing Conor again before the break. Too bad we couldn't get a clear finish though. I also wish we could've seen Conor and RDA in the octagon but if there was even a bit of possibility of that happening anytime soon, Rafael Fiziev basically just closed the book on it.
I mean Conor is coming off a loss too. The big problem is moreso that the RDA fight might not sell as well as another fight the UFC wants to put together. I wanna see mcgregor vs tony to be honest, 170 or 155 it doesn’t matter.

Conor was fighting with so much anger that he wasn't conserving any energy. I love McGregor but had this fight continued it would've ended poorly for him. Especially vs a durable, relentless fighter like Dustin.
Out of the many things my Muay Thai coach told us, the most important advice he gave to all his students was that the most important part of winning the fight is to ensure your body is conditioned to handle the requirements of victory, whatever those requirements may be. Connor did not have the conditioning required to meet the criteria for victory that night, and thus, lost the fight. An anti-climactic end, but that does not take away from the victory. Trilogy over.

@@markroyds23 Yes, but there's a difference between how they reacted to it. If you watch Dustin's reaction to it, he accepts it as well as his own shortcomings, whereas Conor is just in denial and delusional.
I watched the Notorious film again last night on Netflix, his down fall hurts me so much he used to be such a good guy with so much motivation to be the best then he turned into a drunken cocaine fuelled mess. Thanks for the upload again your doin gods work!!
