There’s something really adorable about Umbreon being the toughest, most homocidal, terror obsessed monster, but when he’s around his boyfriend, he’s just a super sweet softy.

I... Love Weh. Legit knew a girl from high school that was ultra quiet. Nobody sat with her. Some thought she was abused; some said she was a murderer; & some really reached saying she was for all intents & purposes (in a fuckton of words) an SCP (with some chilling lore). When I learned what her address was from her cousin (she graduated 2 years before I did), I decided to pay her a visit. She was so fucken quiet bc she was an avid Pokémon fan, especially in the creepypasta areas of the fandom. She *_EXCELLED_* at it, & I love creepypasta fiction bc it's oftentimes VERRRRRRRRRY scary, occasionally it seems believable. I lost my shit, I was so excited. Her face brightened up, she cracked a smile, & her eyes began to look like they were burning. Then she began crying, thanking me for not being a bully & sharing at least one interest. We became OUTSTANDINGLY good pallies. To this day, I still talk to her by text.

interesting tidbits I learned from watching the stream vods because it's been 9 days since I've first watched this video and I'm still completely obsessed: The only Pokemon to have lines in stream 1/5 is Espeon, with his “I’ll wait in the car while you guys do terrorism” However, this line is not actually from the cutscene, it’s from later on when Yam (girl playing game) checks Umbreon and Espeon’s natures The next Pokemon to have lines are in stream 2/5, Weh first, and then Trefor. I’d like to think that Noctowl actually has very cute hobbies like pop music and knitting, he makes little string dolls of people he likes. The low level enemy’s in justy’s gym is just another example of Justy being a petty scumbag. “NO YOU DON’T GET IT THIS IS MY GYM ONLY I GET TO BEAT THE TRAINERS NOT YOU I GET TO BE THE COOL ONE, ME JUSTY NOT YOU!” Espeon has to make a secret second cup of coffee for himself because Simphony keeps trying to poison him. Ever since Umbreon found out weh has a twitch he spams her chat with advertisements for terrorism inc, she has banned him several times. See, Pokémon games can be fun on their own, but they can be MADE so much MORE fun as you invent personalities and narratives for them all. This sort of video is how I wished everyone played Pokémon, making up random hijinks of action, romance, and both silliness and occasional seriousness, just to blend it all together in a super fun cocktail You guys nailed this, so fun

The bit that always gets me when I rewatch this is how you guys made up a story for one of the one-off NPCs, then leave his Aipom with him instead of snagging it. Like your own roleplaying made you play the game "wrong" and I think that's really charming :)

I laughed so hard I cried at the Gardevoir bit. This is actually the funniest video I've seen in a long while. The humor is just WAY TOO GOOD

I come back to this video every now and then for shits and giggles but every time i do i just get struck by like, and incredibly specific vision about Weh! and their content. Like, at work clearly at work in business they're clearly the like, very monotone "I'm just here for the paycheck" type, work good don't socialise much etc. They're not disliked but they're not friends with anybody, you're used to seeing them around but always kinda in the background. Then one day you're 4am deep in a youtube recommendation deep dive, you've followed so many rabbit holes you've breached the earth's mantle, you're on that _niche_ content. And as you're blearily absorbing a video about the cheese-making techniques of ancient civilizations or something instead of putting out some Zs, something clicks. You're not sure what, but something's tickled the recognition centre in your brain. You go to their channel, but it's all too anonymous to trigger anything futher. You watch another of their videos. Then another. It's 5am now. You watch more. 6am. Dawn is sliding the first glow under your curtain. _Finally_ the neurons fire and you recognise the voice. It's Weh, but full of a life and enthusiasm you've never heard, a level of mirth so alien it sounds like an entirely different person. The video's are _good_ too, high quality of production, regular uploads, sited sources, all the signs and energy of a proper labour of love on a topic you'd not heard of before. The cocktail of relief, surprise and sleep deprivation finally knocks you out 15 minutes before your alarm, but as you stumble into work half-dead and with more caffine than blood in your veins, you spot them again, in the background as usual, and through the haze you can still recall their enthusiastic lectures about, idk Mesopotanian Brie or How The Viking's Steamed Clams. It feels comforting, to know that they have something that makes them happy, and on hte lunch break their subscriber count ticks up one more.
