Legends looks incredible. The revamped battle system, the creative freedom and the new overworld mechanics such as riding pokemon as a controllable transportation tool to the player being able to _literally die_ makes me so excited to learn more about this game. Haven't been this excited over a mainline Pokemon title in so long.

IK it actually feels like pokemon is finally after over 10+ years is finally transforming and not just another rehash overworld pokemon format is as good as it can be but it needed some innovation. The game needs to evolve not only in art style and RPG but also in overworld sense and this game feels like it will satisfy all of that criteria.

Yea that stuff seems cool but what worries me is the overall premise. If all there is to do in the game is run around randomly and catch Pokémon until you complete the Pokédex, it will get old extremely quickly. Hopefully there’s more depth to it than that, but with the short development time it just worries me. Either way it’s a step in the right direction for the series though

One OMG they upgraded the stickers for the pokeballs as someone who would be a Pokemon Coordinator in that world this is a DREAM for me. And two HOLY CRAP Legends Arceus looks AMAZING. Like...THAT'S what pokemon SHOULD be going forward. This is gonna be where the fun begins.

Legends Arceus is awful in the environments. As an OG Pokemon fan, I really hate Legends Arceus. Going to be as terrible as BOTW was to Zelda.

In the new Games... Wheres the Regional-Forms that FIX Evolution-Lines and/or give Credit to Pokemon who Need it? Yaaaa knooow: The Options that Regional Forms give? What about Skitty, who could need more Forms, including an Evolution where it does not lose its Cuteness?! Where is that? What about Dunsparce, which is on Fan's List for a new Evolution for Ages?

@@slevinchannel7589 whilst I think you meant to comment that on the video itself; not my comment. I agree mostly. There are Pokémon that desperately need to be “fixed”. My recommendation would be split evolutions. Kinda like what they did with the ralts line. Originally gallade didn’t exist. The Pokémon of mine that comes to mind is murkrow. I love it. Such a well designed little Pokémon. But honchkrow loses the entire feel of what made murkrow great. It needs a different evolution. There are many like that. Or that just need 3rd evolutions

The interesting thing is despite having the gen 4 starter evo plushies on the shelf in the back, they didn't do so for the arceus starter evolutions. We could see some alternate evolutions for them after all (though I wouldnt get hopes enormously high). Just something interesting i noticed. Also, seeing houndoom in BDSP seems to indicate it has the plat dex which is fantastic.

Houndoom was in original DP but it was postgame, plat just made it available earlier. But seeing the Tangrowth all but confirms plat dex because Tangella could not be obtained in DP without transfer and then Plat added it to the marsh.

Tbh imo only piplup was cool/cute from the gen 4 starters and I like oshawott more as the water type and rowlet as the grass type cindaquil was my least favorite cause the fire on its back always look so 2d and weird I think the fire starter should have been eather charmander or torchic btw this is my opinion do don't be all angry

BDSP looks a whole lot better than it was first announced, Following Pokemon, Better Underground and Trainer Customizing is just the cherry on top. I don't know if my heart will ever not yearn for a fully realized 3D remake of the Sinnoh games, but BDSP is certainly proven now to be a worthy compromise.

If you say so. Personally I still Don't see much more to get exited over than there was in the original trailer, a few nee features are nice but so far they just seem like bells and whistles. I'm still hoping I'm wrong but I don't see much reason to think I am. On the bright side legends is looking much better and I am genuinely looking forward to it now.

Love seeing such a nice community here. Friend of mine(close friend) and the pokemon community have been so negative and been killing the vibe for me this morning. Just makes me sad. Pokémon community can be pretty toxic sometimes, but what’s important is to not let yourself be too influenced by it. It’s just about thinking and considering if you think you will have fun with the games, and if the answer is yes, then go ahead and get them ;) I’ll also try to get both but the close release dates are really gonna mess with my wallet

Just ignore those lil kids, I always judge a game by playing my self not by other reviews and pokemon community are toxic as hell. They always tries to find a reason to lash the pokemon company and no matter what I always enjoy playing pokemon games even Sword nd Shield as Pokemon made my childhood precious 😄.

And I agree, it's best to try the games for yourself and then give an opinion on it. Sword and Shield I didn't care for too much, but it has its perks on things. I did enjoy playing through it 🙂

Same. I was hoping for it (mainly for the chance at a mega Luxray), but I'm alright without considering they put consideration into making the contests and following look nice and even having an extra feature for the Underground when were worried they might not even have it in the first place.

One day however, she went out on her own to investigate one of the nearby ruins up in the snowy area of Hisui when she was attacked by a wild Weavile, fortunately we made the right choice in following her and we were able to repel the Weavile, no lives were lost but as a result of that encounter; one of our researchers was badly hurt while trying to defend Cyllene from one of the Weaviles attacks... From that moment on, Cyllene finally started to work well with her fellow researchers, and while she still tries to act all cold and still prefers working on her own, we still consider her a part of the Galaxy Team and Cyllene has stated before that she sometimes imagines *A world where she never got the help she desperately needed and that such a world gives her nightmares!* She has come a long way and we are all so proud of her" In DPP, in Sunnyshore City, someone states that he once knew Cyrus (or was a family member or friend, etc) and he states that he was never able to work well with others and he eventually alienated everyone around him, Cyllene could be a past version of Cyrus and would be the type of leader the past version of Team Galactic (i.e. The Galaxy Team) would have, one that isn't trying to reset the universe!

Can't wait for Legends Arceus- I really like Stantler, and now the Pokemon company is finally giving Stantler the attention it deserves! I feel like a normal or normal-ice type is gonna be the most plausible typing for wyrdeer, but psychic or [quite possibly] dragon could be secondary typings too

For someone who has played the heck outta gen 4, I was at first very skeptical at the remakes. Gen 4 holds so much nostalgic value to me, and I was extremely scared that Nintendo might mess up... but after seeing the new trailer for them I am so pleasantly surprised and impressed. They look absolutely great, and I really like what they’re doing with all the new things, especially with the underground and trainer customization. The Legends game looks very promising, and I feel as if they are taking a step in the right direction for the series. Been playing Pokémon for years, and I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a Pokémon game. Looking forward to buying these games when they come out!

I've always wanted a Pokémon game that's actually a full-on RPG instead of the whole "competitive battle simulator with 10-20 hour campaign" formula that they've got going on. Legends Arceus seems like it's giving us just that based on all of the stuff they showed in the Presents and on the fact that ranked battles will continue to be in Sword & Shield even after its release.

I just know and am willing to bet money that Growlithe will evolve into a Chinese Guardian Lion Dog, maybe its Arcanine or another evo, but looking at Growlithe and it's description, I'm positive my theory is true.

Some theories about Legends: Arceus 1. Cyllene is an ancestor of Cyrus. They have similar appearances, names, and serious behavior. Plus they lead “Galaxy Team” and “Team Galactic” respectively. This leads into the next theory… 2. Galaxy Team is either the precursor or the inspiration for Team Galactic in the present day. Their names are very similar. Cyllene is similar to Cyrus. Maybe Professor Laventon is an ancestor of Charon? Plus, they have a similar command structure - Commander Kamado leads Galaxy Team, and Team Galactic is partially led by multiple commanders.?The real question is, if this is true, how did this exploration team turn into or inspire an omnicidal terrorist organization? That would be a pretty tragic event to explore. Those are the main things. I am interested in how the Pokémon going berserk are connected to Arceus but there isn’t enough evidence to say anything about it.

I absolutely love all of these new Pokemon games coming to the Switch! I also love all of these new Pokemon contents as well! They’re all just the coolest! I just know I’m gonna have an awesome time playing all of these new Pokemon Switch games! I'm so very hyped for all of these games and contents about Pokemon in every way! I just love when The Pokemon Company does Pokemon Presents! This was such a great video of Pokemon Presents by the way Austin John!

I finished playing Platinum, and SS a few months ago. BDSP character sprites are not that impressive; it's just a transition of 2D to 3D. Pretty underwhelming to be honesty. I like the new gimmicks, though. Now, I really hope we get the NATIONAL DEX again. On the other hand, Pokemon Legends Arceus looks awesome!

I actually just noticed that they did show the animations with an HP bar and I am happy that they have definitely improved the speed! I don’t know how I missed that when I watched it, I must have been distracted from the underground and seals and contests and pretty much everything else that was shown.

Legends arceus is finally making the games feel like the anime, attacking twice if you’re fast enough, trainers getting attacked, throwing out a Pokémon to starts a battle, etc! So I guess Pokémon Home is a time machine to transfer past growlithe to the future.

The starters are these three since Cyndaquil is based off a Shogun, Rowlet an Archer, and Oshawatt a Samurai, the three main branches of the Japan Army, which is what Sinnoh is based off of.

Here’s a question, if Legends Arceus is Home compatible, then are Wyrdeer, Basculegion, and the Reigonal Growlithe, Braviary and whatever else be transferrable to other games? I hope so since the Braviary is sick and both Basculin and Stantler need the support of those evos to make them more liked and more powerful

Same assumptions I had from the first announcements: Diamond and Pearl will be like Let's Go games and Arceus will be more like Sword and Shield with the hopes that it's like BOTW too. This announcement did confirm for me that Arceus will have more elements besides walk and catch. Pokemon attacking you creates an exciting new element

Very excited for both games! I hope that in BDSP evolutions or pre-evolutions that came in later gens are present, so that we don't have to pretend like that didn't happen.
