Pokemon Stadium Random Pokemon Animations Compilation 

Well, now the top comment is by default you! Jokes aside, I didn't expect this video to do well, and I also tend to ignore its comments. I don't have a problem with people expressing their opinion on modern Pokemon animations, though you can only see the same comment by different people enough times before you get tired. Showing off cool past animations and hating on modern animations are two different camps to me. They're significantly worse, yes we know already, I agree even, but profit is all they care about, and we're buying without the detailed animations, why bother making them.

@@SaltedNeos I cannot "THIS" this enough. It's really exasperating going into the comment section and seeing the same copy n' paste complaint. And lord forbid you express your exhaustion to this type of stuff or bring up a point that's worth considering, then you're considered a "blind defending kid" and people get suuuper hostile over. Like yeah, that'll show 'em! Nothing say convincing argument like being an ass! Don't get me wrong. Is the complain a valid one? Sure, but it's a tiresome one. I think it wouldn't hurt to just look at some of these animations, say "yo that's cool", and move on with our day instead of turning it into a melodramatic battlefield. So I appreciate you making this the pinned comment, makes me feel grateful that I'm not the only one thinking it.

HONESTLY, YES. I get the animations in modern Pokémon are lackluster. I got it the first 500 times people said it. Everyone who says Battle Revolution is peak Pokémon has 100% not played the game in years. The Stadium games are great, but they deserve praise for giving Gen 1 and 2 a much longer postgame, not just the same animation complaint over and over

Well, you can blame TPC and Game Freak for starting this bullshit. They are the ones that came with the "We will cut Pokemon for improved animations."

You'll hear this line when there's a Level difference of 5 or more, which is more often the case in the Pika-Cup where some trainers have Lv. 20 Pokémon whereas the rentals are all capped at 15

I mean upwards of 600 is a bit much to have *individual large sets* of animations compared to this game's 151/251 but sure, complain😊

The pokemon company has billions and billions of dollars. There is no excuse to not pour money in a good project. Instead they make a game that cost less than a million, low quality so scrubs like you buy it.

Btw, we also had PBR, with more than 400 Pokémon and they still did better. The worst is that, nowadays, they don't even add the WHOLE list to each game...

ok but some pokemon have intro animations in newer games, but tbf the fainting animations have really lost character over time

But the only reason the animations were the way they were in these games was due to the fact that the developers at the time only had to worry about battling. And not an entire explorable overworld and all that. And while yes, Colosseum and XD had something like that, the developers at Genius Sonority were able to make that work since all they had to do was copy and paste the Stadium 1 + 2 models into the games, while updating their textures along with making the new Gen 3 models and the OG Trainer Models! Plus, I like the more snappiness of the animations in the current games, and they're not hurting anyone dude... 🤷🏻‍♂

@@Kinogotiate Ah, this argument. I've seen this one WAY to much on sites like T w I t t e r, and I'm sick of people always brining it up. Do people forget that most of the money comes from the merchandise, not the games?! And even then, most of the money the company makes goes into not just the games. They also primarily go to the Anime, Manga, TCG, Toys, etc. You are acting like just because they have all this money, that the games are all that matters. When in reality, that's not the case. Plus, making new models and animations takes money, so they have a limit with how much a game can do, especially one with hundreds of models in the games, both Humans and Pokemon.

There is no univers in which nintendo/ pokemon company has less money for development than From software with the numerous enemies and animations in elden ring. Yeah, because that’s DEFINITELY all the game is, forget all the cool team building and the fact that they give Gen 1 and 2 more postgame content. They’re just animations, the entire game is Pokémon animation

Parasect is the reason this video even exists. You'd never see that animation on a Pokemon that primarily uses Slash.

Exactly, this is why people complain a lot about the new games. With hardware like the switch, they should be putting quality games, but they chose not to care anymore. A N64 game from more than 20 years ago has way more quality than any pokemon game nowadays

@@Yokai_YuriThey had to put care into the games back in the day because of the Pokemania that was going on at the time. Pokémon Gen 1 was a crazy time. If you remember when Pokémon Go came out, and how many people went crazy over that, Gen 1 Pokémon was basically that but 100x more insane in terms of the craze.

I'm just not using rentals, those are Pokemon from my copy of Pokemon Red

He transfered from the Gameboy games, this is why many of these animations cannot be seen at all if you only use rentals.

I named the Parasect after the name it has in a japanese blue only ingame trade, I like to make people play Pika Cup format occasionally and as a result, I've got a good majority of the legal mons at level 15-20. Golem and Parasect are only available because of ingame trades in Japanese Blue, so I decided to give them the nicknames they were supposed to have.
