i'm a pool service tech here in Florida... I do about 70 pools a week. Man... it is rare that i don't ever have to vac a pool, even enclosed pools... they always need to be vacummed, I might get lucky once a week and not have to vac a pool, but that is super rare The clients we have here expect you to use the "magical" vacuum. I have a client that has the cleanest pool in the universe and the one time i didn't vac and decided to net the 3 specs of dirt out called and complained that we weren't doing our job, because he caught me on video not using the "magical" vac... LOL! Also we do a monthly filter cleaning as an SOP to each pool every month. I clean 3-4 cartridge filters a day to work through each pool monthly. Out of my 70 pools, I only have one DE filter and the rest are cartridges. Where are you guys located?
kronomarine wow that’s a lot different than what we do out here. Vacuuming pools is tough. Takes a lot of time to get that step done. I think the standard should be set in the beginning. In the video I explain what we call 4 primaries 3 secondaries. We let the customer know what’s to be expected and vacuuming is only done as needed. We have a few customers over the years request we vacuum every time and I had to explain to them how things work. Some have understood and turned into awesome customers, some have gone to other service pros, and some we have compromised with as do once a month (or more if needed) sounds like you know how to work your way around the pool though. 70 pools a week vacuuming and filter cleaning! Just like he said we have to vacuum these Florida pools just about every time even caged pools unless they have a pool vac. I don’t have a lot of those on my route😂... I’m in my 2nd year here in central Florida.
Kenneth Smith dang I’m sure that could be rough. I hope to be able to check out those cages one day. We don’t have any of that out here. Pools fully exposed to be trashed
Pool Rescuers the hammerhead power vac is my friend lol...I actually hate screened in pools.. some are low so you have to be careful not to put your pole right threw it.
