@lordshenley Couldn't agree more. However, it's comforting to see that the people who do abuse the Church not only make baseless criticisms, but also cannot write or reason properly. Shows you what the anti-faith campaign really is: irrational slandering. Rationality is the reason why I am a practicing Catholic. Most of the people here criticizing seem to lack it. I actually get encouraged reading this rambling...makes my faith stronger!

The Church in England was forced to separate because of the lust and greed of a king called Henry VIII who did not respect that 85% of England wanted to remain Catholic but did not care about the will of his people and forced them to believe in his version of Christianity. After all, Anglicanism was not founded by Jesus Christ. On the contrary, Catholicism was founded by Jesus Christ himself and has a 2000 of tradition and Faith. I suggest you study some History young man.
@psychodrilla Maybe you should have researched your claims before and then you'd understand. The age of consent is a recommendation of Canon Law and is not a state law of the Vatican. Canon Law is a series of 'laws' which recommend bare minimums for proper Church teaching for the rest of the world. Therefore, in this situation, the Church merely states that 14 should be the bare minimum age of consent for any nation, but the state should make the decision to raise it according to social factors.

@51wins Jesus never preached the word of god but only the enlightment of the Human race. It was the church that made us belive that christ died for our sins or something, there is no such thing as sins all Jesus wanted was to help humanity ascend, don't let that message get lost!
