i worked at a vet school a while back and we had a poor bull in that was trying to breed a cow in an adjacent pasture and managed to get his penis wrapped in barb wire. had to have his bandage changed twice a day and let me tell you i've never seen a guy so sad, he had to step in teeny tiny steps to move around enough so i could clean his pen. always gave me a "please dont make me" face. healed enough to go home after a couple weeks.
Oh the indignities that bull had to go through!! I thought it was only us humans that were subjected to such things! Glad he will be feeling better with that pus out!

Ive watched many of Enochs videos. I will say hes got a way with the Willys. He should just face it and change the channel name to Wet Willy. Hes a great vet too. 👍
Usually not helpful with abscesses, because of how the anesthetic works. But he mentions meloxicam at the end, to be given along with antibiotics. Meloxicam is a painkiller, so the bull will get some pain relief.
Local doesn’t work on abscesses most of the time. The skin becomes desensitized as it’s stretched and I go very thick, so it’s not as horrific as if it were to happen to us
