...Coming back from my testdrive I noticed... and it's fixed so another testdrive.. Oh no! it wasn't what I thought it was.. fixed! another testdrive! hmm I need to go get fuel so another testdrive IN MY PORSCHE! hahaha keep up the good work! It isn't fixed 'til you've broken it again!

It took ages to find a ticking noise when Turning ing left on an old Toyota I had some years back. It was the end of a metal wiring clip catching on a prop shaft UJ. Two seconds to cure, a week to find!

When problems get fixed, except the one you're looking for, always an annoying situation... :P

the clip at 13:13 you can see the left hand CV joint rubber gaiter jerk outwards at the point the clunk is heard - it’s like it’s internal bearings are riding up on a wear groove and thumping the half shaft against the rear hub as the shaft starts to turn from stationary. once moving the CV joint bearings are positioned differently due to the torque reaction, then when you slow down and stop the bearings fall back into the worn groove.

AhHa! This was a case of one trouble hiding another one. You fixed the first and now to take care of the other one. Glad to hear the Porsche has been behaving nicely otherwise.

Good idea to put the camera under the car it looks like you have found the problem. My Ford Puma 1.7 is 125bhp same as your Porsche and it goes like a little rocket.

Yep that’ll be it👍🏼 I’m guessing the circlip is broken? Would this allow the driveshaft to slide in the splines?

God that’s so annoying Seppo but those kind of niggle type noises often are hard to find and yes I really thought it sounded like an exhaust bump noise too 😟, maybe just drive with ear pods in ears at a high volume 😂.

Lidl in the UK is awash with tools to use on the car - not sure about quality but I don't recall anywhere else I can buy a lathe, a plasma cutter and some cheese within a one metre radius lol

You found other problems that needed fixing but not THE problem.

You may have found the culprit! Check if there isn't something loose in the boot as well, just in case...

'window wiper wont park' - probably the Wiper relay

What is the model of the blue lift you are using? I assume it is electrically operated,do you require any extra equipment to make it work?
