Great video , and i watched it to remind me of the hassle i endured when i did the same many years ago😂 You having to cut the large washer locating the spindle of the wiper is purely because of the windscreen fitter not locating it properly when replacing it. They should have raised the windscreen on the the 2 lower cams at least another 5mm.

Thanks, you saved me. I did mark the linkage. However, after refitting the wipers did turn the wrong way round. So maybe it wasn't the motor after all but the previous owner who tried to repair it. I'll never know... The important thing is: it is working now. Thanks again for your video

Wow, that is awesome, I normally just trash motors in that condition, but I looked it up and found refurbished motors for $650 american! That is insane!

Thats alot of work but worth it. Mine still works but makes the weird noice because of the same corrosion I think
