• 400 gr of Codfish
• 2 big potatoes
• 3 medium onions
• 4 garlic clove
• Black olives
• Olive oil
• 4 eggs
Parsley, to taste
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Dried Bay leaf

My Mom is from Macau. I always think Portuguese's cuisine is most underrated. If I have to choose an European food to eat for the rest of my life, I would choose Portuguese and Italian. French cuisine will be at the bottom of my list.

We have been lucky to travel to Macau, and we loved it! Its such a nice city, with a unique vibe! Thank you for that, we would also choose Portuguese for sure (Italian is also good :)

Portugese is my first choice too, even being from french origin, french would be the last on the list, middle eastern and japonese right after portugese

I ate this once in Lisbon and I really loved it! I remember them asking me if I wanted a normal or big portion, I chose the big one but I underestimated how much they give. I could only finish half 😅 I will try to make this myself now!

Ola isabel! Obrigado pelo feedback, na realidade por termos o exaustor diretamente acima da fogão/placa dificulta a gravação com perspetiva "de cima", mas vamos de futuro tentar arranjar uma solução!

Is it possible to use an air fryer to fry the grated potato instead of a deep fat fryer?

Never done so, i personally do not have one, but it will all come down to see if the air fryer will not break the thin potato. Try! :)

Is it possible to put the fries in the oven instead of frying, I like this dish so much but I want to reduce the calories hahha. I had it for the first time in 2018 on madeira!
