Try having a narcissist/ toxic dad who's been involved with gangs and abuse drugs, and probably women too. An who only shows up to put you down. A person that has to have the advantage all the time, who has to boss you around, who has to be one in the charge .they're always right. They have to be the spotlight or else they'll come out of no where an just say something to make you feel down...an when no one's around you they'll smile at that.

Yes, this is NOT healthy behavior. He is not in control of his emotions like he should be. I lived with a narc father and two older...possibly 3 older narc siblings (I was the youngest). Mine were sneaky, manipulative, DANG smart (now..looking back...I don't think so much), belittleing, ALWAYS about THEM THEM THEM. They were the ones who talked, had to be the focus of all the attention. My brother is loud and scary when angry...actually, ...he's pathetic, I fear for my sister in law who's actually a childhood friend. Before finding out about narcissism, I called it "silent anger with tantrums mixed in." I hope you can get him to therapy with secret video evidence to back up that you're not the one who's crazy. They will do that too.....make you feel like you're crazy. I'm free now...been free since 11 years ago. I hope you will get the strength and either LEAVE or get therapy...but....I don't see him changing. God be with you.

STORY: I was 33 at the time of staying with my pops and one day me and a friend were in his home watching TV and a commercial was on so me and friend were talking and laughing, my pops came out his room and ask me if I was still watching TV and I said yeah, he said how when you both are talking, I said huh? A commercial is on pops. He said so what, shut up or watch TV because my light bill is already high. I looked at friend and she looked at me then we both started laughing and he got pissed and stomped hard pacing back and forth yelling saying OOHH, I'M SICK OF THIS S*#%T! THIS JUST MAKES ME WANNA RUN AWAY! And slammed his room door. I knew something was wrong back 11 years ago but didn't know that he was an extreme narc. Pops passed away in 2015 and one of the causes was hypertension! Sad situation for anyone to experience. Thanks for listening!

I remember making dinner and my narc literally started an argument over his adult son. One moment he was laughing and the next raging. He said,"E is going to be away for a few days." I replied, "Oh, with his girlfriend in Texas?" "He replied, " NO, for the National Guard.!" I replied, "Oh, I'm sorry I thought you meant he'd be with her for a few days. You told me he was smitten with her." "He replied, "You don't care about my kids at all, do you." "I replied, " What are you talking about? Of course, I care about them." He replied," Listen, cut it out with the B.S., you don't give a damn about them." I replied," "I care about their safety and well-being." He replied," "That's as far as it goes right? RIght?" I replied, " Yeah, how far is supposed to go?" He raged for hours after that. It was a mess. It ended with me slamming the skillet down on the stove and me storming off. I was angry that he spoke that way in front of his 13-year-old daughter.

I use to do the same my narc was ocd about cleaning so i use to clean all day now i realize i was grey rocking without knowing i wanted peace, i would also put on the vaccum or heaphones my narc would get upset and rage worse than this.
