When I spotted this video I thought, "Hey, I know that guy!" Never thought I'd find myself strapped in your seat and headed down Santa Pod! Thanks for the thrill! It's been a while since I've done that. The sound is even to perfection, but I'd turn the idle up a bit to get rid of that surge. Not easy to stage when it keeps trying to run thru the brakes! Yes that’s correct. Many told me it won’t work but so far we’ve run 6.51 at 211 mph (.98/60’). With no issues. With no clutch you have to ‘feel/drive it’ off the line. It’s an unrated pro- mod glide we use.
@@bobhawkins very cool! What kind of percentages are you running fuel-wise, and because of the glide are you tuning it more like an alky digger regarding the idle speeds and pump size?
@@voxnut Started at 60 then 70 and the latest is 75% may well increase further once we have a proper handle on the tune and yes’s low fat idle is best so it won’t try to push though the brakes, being a torque converter. The pump is a 15.9 , quite large by Alky standards although it all depends on what sort of power you want Ing to make.
