Hi Gary, I was a bit skeptical about the Bluetti PSU, but I found your excellent presentation to be mind changing. The phone charging and App control were pleasantly mind boggling features!

Looks really useful and well thought out. But I think Anderson Power Pole connectors would have been more useful to the ham community than these little sockets that always seem to have a centre pin that's the wrong size. So, time to get the soldering iron warmed up to make a patch lead, as I have just ordered an EB3A as shown in the video.

This might be handy for some repeater keeper's with a questionable mains power supply, if you can use the ups backup along with the 12v trickle charger might keep some repeaters on the go for a few hours, longer with the higher specked bluetti's.

I use a bluetti eb3a with a pyle 30amp ac pwr supply plugged into the inverter port Lets me use up to full 100 watts on yaesu 857 and since its a switching power supply it only draws heavier current when you use it

Interesting video. I wasn’t sure what the final verdict was on this. Does the radio draw too many amps if used in transmit mode too long? Is it safe to use?

Many thanks for this info, Gary. Are all the Bluetti power-stations RF quiet?

Will these portable power stations power an IC-7300 and PSU for POTA use?

Only as QRP on 10Amp DC longer via AC PSU. Worst interference on 160m from inverter.

Does anyone know what the RF noise is like on these. I have a similar unit from a different manufacturer Yose. It's very good running my 705 but in the county side where the rf back ground is very quiet there is a very slight increase in the noise floor on the 705

That's a good question, the 230V inverters are prone to be noisy maybe if your just using the 12v outlet that'll probably be ok. I just use a 12v lithium iron phosphate battery when I'm out and about smaller and lighter for my radios.
