If you are going through a breakup, this is the only video you will ever need to heal because I am going to give you practical ways to deal with the pain.
Let's start with a question. When one of our loved ones dies, it feels like the end of the world, right? The pain is intense, and the loss feels unbearable. But after a few years, why don’t we feel the same intense pain? Let me tell you why: because we have accepted that they are never coming back. Acceptance is by far the most important and hardest step in the healing process. So how do we accept? What can we do? I’ll tell you.
Cry for a week and let your emotions out. It’s natural to feel sad, so allow yourself to express those feelings. Cry it out, ask all the questions you have, and let the emotions flow. This process is crucial because once you’ve cried and asked all those questions, it will help you accept the breakup. Letting your emotions out and addressing your feelings directly will provide the closure you need to start healing.
Once you have cried enough and feel lighter, hit the gym. Turn your anger, frustration, and hurt into energy and put it back into yourself by working out. Going to the gym will help you eat well, sleep well, and most importantly, get you out of your room.
Now that you have started to come out of your room, share your feelings with people who care about you. They can offer support and perspective. Sometimes, just having someone listen will comfort you. They might not have all the answers, but their presence alone can be comforting.
Try to engage in activities that keep your mind busy, like working on a project or starting a new hobby. Give yourself a sense of purpose. This helps shift your focus away from the past. Watch your favourite movies, go for a walk, or treat yourself to something special. Show some kindness to yourself.
There are a few things you need to avoid. I want you to stay away from drugs, rebound relationships, and sad music. Temporary relief from drugs and rebound relationships is not going to help you heal, and listening to sad music is only going to amplify your pain. So avoid them at all costs.
There is one more thing I want you to avoid: contacting your ex-partner. Unfollow them on social media and put away anything that brings back memories. You need to create that distance to start fresh, okay?
Now, be patient with yourself. Stay positive and trust that you will get through this. Every day is a step forward. You will have good and bad days for sure, but just keep going. Whenever you feel like giving up, ask yourself: do you really want to spend your life grieving while the other person isn’t even bothered? I hope your answer is no.

Made me feel heard, made me feel someone genuinely caring for people in pain.. and above all, made me realise what it feels when someone says something and then even does it!
