Pregnancy Anxiety After Loss | Rainbow Baby 

“Those two lines don’t mean anything until I see the baby and hear the heart beat” that really hit home. That’s exactly how I felt three days ago when I found out I was pregnant. I really want to get excited about this pregnancy, but I’m so scared to miscarry again. 😭😭😭

I lost my first baby at 15 weeks and I never imagined the pain that came with it. It seriously broke me, but it seemed a lot of people around me expected me to get over it just because I hadn’t “met it yet”. Whether or not I hadn’t met them, they were so real to me, and I loved them more than anyone in my life. Six months after losing them, I found out I was pregnant with my rainbow baby. I was terrified all throughout that pregnancy. He was born at 38 weeks, and he is now a healthy, happy little boy that will be 3 in October. We have also recently welcomed our second little boy into the world 🌈❤️

I went thru 1 blighted ovum 1 mis carriage and 1 ectopic with tube removal and now I’m pregnant with rainbow baby. I’m happy and I decided to let the past be the past. I’m taking 1 day at a time and I’m giving all my anxiety and worry to God. I felt all those emotions you were talking about but I told myself to not have doubt just be happy just live in this moment and keep going. Thank you for your courage and love you help me realized I’m not crazy for feeling like this. I also wanted to say this is my rainbow baby and I mourned my last 3 so I could push thru and give this baby inside me the love and courage it needs from me. ❤️🙏🏾 🌈

After haveing my first miscarriage July 16,2020 I found out I was pregnant with my rainbow 🌈 baby yesterday❤️🙏🏾

My husband and i tried for 3 years and finally on the 3rd year mark we found out I was pregnant. I told my bff and she told me she was pregnant too! We were 2 weeks apart. Unfortunately a few weeks later I miscarried. It’s been 5 months since then and it doesn’t get easier. It’s so hard going through all of it alone. My obgyn office was so careless about it too, which made me feel worse. There’s days when I just feel so sad about it. But then I remind myself that our baby is in heaven with the best care, considering everything happening in the world.

This really gives me hope! I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and am now freshly 4 weeks pregnant with another angel. hoping this one goes well!

I needed this video! Healthy son - Oct 2012 Healthy daughter - Jan 2014 Loss - Sep 2017 Loss - May 2018 Loss - Feb 2019 Currently 7 weeks and my first ultrasound is next week Wednesday. The last few weeks have dragged by so slowly. The anxiety is so terrifying.

My son was stillborn at 18 weeks 2017. I just found out I’m pregnant but have just been so anxious. I had some mild cramping and totally started to panic bc of my previous experience. I pray that all will be well and we will have our rainbow baby but I so appreciate this video because it is exactly how I am feeling. I can’t relax until I hear a heart beat.

I just had a “ chemical pregnancy” and I hate that they use the word. Going forward I will never be optimistic again because of what we are experiencing!

Your story is so relatable. I had a missed mc in September and just found out I’m pregnant. It’s so sad that a loss takes away the joy I should be feeling. I have 3 children and never worried throughout their pregnancies. Now I am over analyzing everything with this one. Thank you for sharing, it’s such a comfort to hear others stories. I recently miscarried my first baby. I was ten weeks but my little bean stopped growing at 6 weeks. I am unbelievably heartbroken. We of course want to try again but I’m petrified to put us through that again.

I am going through this and feel the exact same way. I am almost 6 weeks and I’m terrified, constant burst of emotions and sense of helplessness. It feels as if no one around me understands my fear. This video is a blessing. Fingers crossed this pregnancy is healthy. I just need to hear a heartbeat and know the baby is not ectopic this whole feeling that should be joy is fear, this is the longest wait until next doc appointment which will be next week.

I appreciate this. I am currently 6 weeks after 3 losses and I’m so so nervous! I had my first scan yesterday and there was a sac with a heartbeat! But today I was told my progesterone went down a little bit from 21 to 16. Still in the safe zone but nerve wrecking still 😩 my progesterone supplements got increased so I good that helps and I pray pray pray this is my sticky rainbow baby!!! 🙏🙏

I want to applaud you all for supporting each other & sharing your stories. This would’ve been invaluable to me years ago. My rainbow baby is 19 now & thriving, but my pregnancies were harrowing. 19 years ago my son was born at 23 weeks, weighing under 1 lbs. I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix (yes that’s the textbook name 🤦🏻‍♀️) Surprisingly I got pregnant immediately after. It was a terrifying 9 months of bed rest & near losses. Thankfully I gave birth to my daughter at full term, she’s almost 18 & amazing. In 2001 no one talked about these things. Amongst so much negativity, it’s heartening to see channels like this. 👍💕

I recently miscarried really early and I was just telling my husband how i'm so scared to get pregnant again because I'm already have anxiety about miscarrying again. It's so true how no matter when you lose a baby even if it's early, it's such a huge loss. It was so difficult especially with me being so early on because no one knew except for my husband, so it was very isolating and made the pain ten times worst. Appreciate you putting this video out. It definitely has helped me to hear other women's stories about their pregnancy losses.

I recently found out 3 days ago that I’m losing my baby when the baby’s heartbeat was not detected. The world crushed on me and my husband and nobody can prepare us for the grief that came with it. When you found out you’re pregnant, you can’t stop from already imagining the change that would happens in your life with tiny hands. And the fact that it’s not happening, we’re devastated. I’m in this position right now, I had a MC May 23rd at 4 weeks, I just found out I was pregnant again a few days ago, and you’re truly the only one that understands me, I have so much anxiety, fear, I’m constantly looking up any cramp I feel in stomach, back, legs etc, I think the same thing, once I see and hear my baby that’s when I will believe it as of now I’m just so SCARED. I am going through this right now and I feel every second is just so hard to get through. I did the blood test and my hcg is fine but that doesn’t make me feel good at all. Can’t tell anyone but this just makes my life even worse. Just glad came across this video and at least I can “tell” someone what’s going on and hopefully I can get more people pray for me and pray for the baby.

I love this , soo relatable 😓 I lost my son Adonys jr. at 27 weeks last year may and now I’m 23 weeks in my second pregnancy with another baby boy 🙏🏽 it’s been so stressful and scary just how your explaining, it’s scary to get excited after losing a child . And even more now getting closer to that date is so nerve wracking even as hard as you try to get excited for the pregnancy it’s soo hard with all the trauma and fear... but I’m slowly releasing that fear and accepting it and enjoying the pregnancy 😇🙏🏽

I am currently going through this Ive had one ectopic pregnancy with a tube removal. I had a miscarriage a year ago and you said it perfectly about: getting a positive test doesn’t mean anything. I feel sad and like a bad human for not being excited about the news but as you say I need to see the baby and hear the heartbeat to even believe it.

I'm 10 weeks right now. I lost my first baby almost a year ago at 6 weeks before I even got a chance to have my first appointment. It was devastating. But from the start I felt like something wasn't right because I had absolutely no symptoms. This time we got to see the heartbeat at the first ultrasound (at 8 weeks) and I felt what you felt....but im still terrified. I had planned to tell my parents on Christmas eve (tomorrow) but because I'm only 10 weeks and haven't had an ultrasound since the first one, im extremely hesitant. thank you for this video. i needed this because my first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage/ d&c two months ago and after my first cycle, i fell pregnant again. i am so nervous right now. constantly crying and worried my rainbow baby will have the same outcome. next week, i'll be 7 weeks and that is when my first scan is. i know its super early still but i want to start a family so badly. i want this fear and anxiety to go away. praying for a different outcome this time

I'm still healing from the laparotomy (not keyhole surgery) which left me with a bit similar to a csection. I want to have a baby so bad as I'm not yet a mommy. This is kind of similar to my story. We’ve had 2 losses in the last year and a half. I’m currently 28 weeks with my “3rd” but 5th pregnancy. I started doing much better after feeling her but recently I’ve had a return of the anxiety that something will go wrong. This pregnancy has been hard on my emotions. I watched your missed miscarriage video: I recently experienced this in august. I am like you wanting to know what’s going on tell me strait up because I’ve lost a baby. But my story is long and hard I never had a Ob or a chance to see any of the three ultrasounds leading up to being told I m/mc. So my story is I actually m/mc my rainbow baby I was 15m postpartum from losing my first son 😭 my third pregnancy to placenta abruption and cord being wrapped at 38 weeks to the day. There is so much I’m leaving out only because it’s so long. I just want to thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for your videos! Our first daughter was stillborn at 32 weeks, then we had two healthy baby girls following our first loss. Our youngest is 6 now, and I was on birth control pills, but in December we found out we were pregnant. Everything felt normal, just like it did with my other three pregnancies. I went to the ER on January 10 for elevated blood pressure, and my doc wanted an ultrasound of the baby done, first ultrasound, and there was a gestational sac but no baby. I was having a blighted ovum miscarriage. I just had my D&C this morning, and I am so scared, but we are thinking about trying again.

Hoping that All Of Us have healthy pregnancies with healthy babies.

I just had my first pregnancy and I was 8 weeks when I miscarried. I was planning that baby so of course I want to try again but I dont know when to try again. On top of that I'm scared to death it will happen again. I was clueless to all the things that could go wrong till my miscarriage which was 2 weeks ago Friday. I did everything I thought was good or right as far as no caffeine and no one smoking around me. I had also just announced my pregnancy before it happened so that made it 1000x harder. I love and appreciate your story, but at the same time it made me so sad. With my first and only pregnancy, my husband wasn't allowed to come to ultrasound due to Covid, but I got to see that beautiful heartbeat only to find out that would be the only time I would ever see it cause I lost the baby at 10 weeks. My husband will never have that experience with me.

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, only 6th. The doctor tracked my HCG back to negative and I got my two pink lines yesterday (August 28th)... I've taken 7 tests between yesterday and today because I keep thinking "what? Really? Let me check one more time." I'm calling my doctor first thing tomorrow morning. I'm feeling aaaaaallllllllll the emotions at the moment. And trying not to psych myself up too much just yet. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

I’m so scared too. I am pregnant after a miscarriage - a traumatic miscarriage with mass amounts of blood loss - and I relate with you so much on this. I am going for a early pregnancy scan because I need to see the heartbeat. I’m scared for that day, I literally can’t sleep at night. I wake up full of fear.
