I will never stop supporting this company, they are fantastic. I have these capsules myself and they are awesome. The Ingenuity of flowtoys is groundbreaking in their customer service is the best I've ever experienced.

I haven't spun in awhile, life and time constraints always getting in the way, but I am out here deployed and brought my poi just in case I felt like picking things back up... and man these get released. Definitely ordering, think I may have just been inspired to get back into it. These look so amazing.

just got my 2.0's and they are HELLA bright! I'm pretty tech savvy and there are so many options it actually has a learning curve to it. Awesome product, love this company :)

Most of us use just a fraction of the features as well :) If you don't already know about it, you can now get the bridge to access the flowtoys app - flowtoys.com/props/bridge-for-app - totally helps access many of the modes and features that were previously harder to get to!

Dood thank you so much for making such a quality product. These are hand down my absolute favorite poi to spin with. Just bought my 4th one to finally go from 3 poi to 4. 🤤🤤🤤 Personally, I have both my handles and my pods with extra weight but that’s just me. Keep ‘em spinning!

You might want to check out the new FPC rope - it's pretty epic for 3-4 poi manipulation, esp if you like tossing. We have conversion kits as well if you're thinking of trying them out. @@flowtoys I was just looking at those today actually! I opted to buy the set of 2 FlowSkrima and some Flow chucks. For the last few years I’ve been spinning with dual nerf swords on my custom hood back piece and I’ve been trying to find some LED “swords” to replace them with. I just today found the saber you guys have but it was just a hair longer than I wanted. So happy I found the Flowskrima! They are EXACTLY what I needed. I’m going to need to make a new back panel for my hood so I can quick mount the flowskrima like my old swords fit. Teenage Mutant Ninja Raver for life!! Now if you guys just had some custom clear polycarbonate Sai for my capsules to go in I would have the complete LED dual swords, dual flowchucks, dual sai, 4 poi and a martial staff 🤤🤤🤤 my dream Master Splinter LED kit!!

@@flowtoys I will definitely be upgrading my poi to the FPC conversion as soon as I can save up the money again. Spent a pretty penny today on the Flowtoys website so I gotta recharge the bank account 😅 After spinning nonstop this weekend at Electric Forest and barrowing other’s extra poi to practice 4 I just had to get more. ❤️

Hey Sean I have about 6 capsules from various poi I have purchased. All have problems. Some charge but won’t light up. Some the buttons don’t work and others have various problems. I’ve tried a hard and soft reset. No Joy 🙁. I’m curious if I can send them back to get checked out and possibly Repaired? Some are less than a year old.

We'll take care of ya - please email us at support@flowtoys.com and we'll send you troubleshooting and if those don't work, you can send them in for warranty. We've generally had very few issues w/ 2.0s. Almost all button issues are coz they need to be cleaned - we'll send you the how to link. Look forward to getting your lights back in action!

I’ve just heard about your company and i was looking at your website. I was wondering if I ordered a normal leviwand that just glows in the dark but doesn’t light up. Can I order two of these capsules to make the ends light up?

Hi Andre, Glad you found us! You can't add capsule lights to the ends of a normal flow-wand, as it won't be balanced. The balance of the wand has to be just right, and there is no way to secure the light at the very tips of the wand. If the capsule stick out the sides, they will cause the wand to tip quickly depending on which way it's facing. We recommend getting the composite contact wand if you are interested in the capsule lights: flowtoys.com/composite-contact-wand ... it's very well balanced, highly-reviewed, and practically indestructible :)

I am wondering, can you adjust the settings with wireless sync? Also What kind of batteries are these ?

Yes when they are grouped, you can adjust the brightness and white balance universally among all in the group at the same time. Only "grouping" and "reset to default" are specific to the solo capsule. They are Li-ion batteries, and are now user-replaceable. We will be making a video on how-to soon.

Hmm, interesting. Are the capsule 1.0 same type of batteries? If not, would it be possible to swap out the batteries for Li-ion?

They are similar but not the same. Capsule 1.2 batteries do not have a battery connector, so you will need to solder it. But I cannot recommend soldering a capsule 2.0 battery to a 1.2 light, because the battery protection is built into the PCB of the 2.0, but not in the 1.2, so 1.2 requires battery to have the protection built-in. If you need a battery for 1.2 and are down to soldering, please email us at support@flowtoys.com and we can help you out there.

I need help with my pod poi v2. I updated them hoping that would fix the problem and the update went smoothly but one still refuses to turn on when I click the button. I know it works because it lights up when plugged in and has a full battery but it just won't let me flow with it. can you please help?

All parts and products manufactured by flowtoys are covered by our lifetime warranty, so we'll get you flowing again. Please contact us directly at warranty@flowtoys.com and we can provide some troubleshooting tips to try in case you can fix the light from home. If the tips are unsuccessful, we'll include instructions on how to send the light back to us for warranty service. Rest assured, we'll do our best to get your flowtoys up and running again ASAP :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

So awesome!! A few questions: 1) What wireless tech is this using? Is it bluetooth? 2) Will there be an app to allow adjusting all these things so you don't have to use a single-button interface? 3) Will you provide any technical resources for hobbyists to control these? Hardware devices/APIs/Protocol Specifications?

It's a custom radio and protocol. Yes we are working on an app - though need to focus on this round and ensure that it's all good to go. Yes we are working on an ESP32 bridge that will allow you to do more custom stuff, but also in development! But honestly we have to make sure this round succeeds, or no more development, so don't wait to buy and tell your friends to support, so we can make things more awesome ;)

Well, I will absolutely picking up at least a pair of these, and I would be more than interested in beta testing any dev kits / hobbyist stuff you're doing. I'm an LED artist (lightatplay.net) and Poi spinner, and I think it would be awesome to do some coordinated work where a set of performers were synchronized with a large LED installation. Come drop by at Burn if y'all are gonna be there. I'll be around 3:30 and Esplanade with our dome. Cheers!

Well, I got them, and they're lovely. I'd love for more info about the radio still. In the mean time, for those curious, the radio appears to be a nRF24L01 or something similar, but y'all went and used a Chip-on-Board process so nosey geeks like myself would have a harder time figuring it out. Looking forward to the docs!

Hi Philip - podpoi come standard with knobleashes these days. I believe we are out of the regular flowleashes for now, but you can order flowleash plus if you'd like swivels and finger loops. These come with truly stainless steel swivels and are amazingly buttery!

I have the original PodPoi. If I just purchase the capsules alone, would they fit into my Podpoi shell?

Yes they will! Capsule 2.0s have the same housing and are reverse compatible - it's the electronics that got a big reboot. You can also contact us at support@flowtoys.com if you'd like to trade your 1.0s in - you can get credit towards the 2.0s :) We'll send you details via email. Some people wish to keep their 1.0s and that's ok too.

flowlights have a different place and purpose. I love their alien aesthetic and they do put out more light with 2 pixels instead of the 1 in a capsule. Also sometimes it's good to have easily replaceable batteries when you're out of power - doesn't come up in everyday urban life, but it's great when you're traveling.

Yes absolutely! Flowlights and capsule lights are 2 separate light engines for flowtoys. Flowlights fill a different need and have a different look and feel. We'll be releasing other light engines soon as well - stay tuned!
