Pin 1: Audio hot (white) Pin 2: Audio shield/common (black) Pin 3: Transmit (red) Pin 4: Channel up Pin 5: Channel down

People say to use needle nose pliers to keep a part from overheating when you solder it in. I always use my fingers for that, vigorously blowing on them as the part cools. My fingers have the marks to show just how well that idea works. Seems to protect the parts better than it does the meat. :)

I did some checking and no it's not the same the pins for the Grant are 1-Audio,2-Shield,3-Receive,4- Switching, 5-Transmit

Sure all Mic's have the same basic wires on a HR2510 it uses the TX Audio and Common on most Cobras they use 4 Wires TX RX Audio and Ground point being most Mic's have 5 wires Audio, Shield, Ground, Rx and TX it's just how you wire them.
