Randy West was the announcer on this show after he did “Supermarket Sweep”. Following Rod Roddy’s death, rotating announcers like Randy West and Burton Richardson are on there before Rich Fields came along.
I remember this game, although I never saw it much on the show. I remember that it was one of my favorite games. Or, so I remember. And, I assume that this was right after Rod dies, because this guy is Randy West, I think is his name.
You know, although On the spot is retired now, I have oftened wondered if Drew Carey could have figured this game out that is if it was still in the pricing game rotation.
When the Announcer search originally started I was marking out for Randy West because I liked his announcing alot. I was dissappointed about him not being chosen, But rich does a damn solid as a hunk of platinum and his voice does fit in a bit more. Oh, I knew this game good. Didn't confuse me!
I think because it wasn't won enough times they decided it was too hard to play and decided to retire it. It is a matter of getting the guesses correctly and knowing prices, which is the point of all the games to begin with.
@@zachalderton2057 11-15(Win rate: 42,30%) It was removed from price game rotation on November 5 2004 for re-tooling However just 2-3 months later, the game was premantely retired
Get off the spot using one of three paths, and guessing correctly which of the prizes each price on the path you belongs to. Guess incorrectly along the way, you have to try a new path. You lose the game if there are no other paths available.
I maybe could have won this lol Salt and pepper shakers and backpack were obvious, how tf did she get the backpack wrong originally lol Auto vac would have been 50 Sharpener would be 45 Gauge would be 40 Kettle would be 24
i liked the idea of this game, but felt it was too hard to win. the set up was fine, maybe one too many items to choose from??? this game could work, but as its been proven, it's too hard.
I don't like this game. It lookx like something that could have been on Let's Make a Deal instead of this show. I don't remember anyone winning this game. If I were a contestant playing this game, I would probably lose. One mistake, and the path that is being worked on is eliminated. Notice that it didn't take long for the contestant to exhaust all three paths.
The game is awful. Way too hard and complicated. They really have to stop with the overly complicated game plays. The game looks so simplistic and requires little prop. But that doesn't make for a good game. Its a pure guessing game that gives very little chance for error. Where as games like 10 chances at least give you more chances to make up for the errors. Bad game for a car. This game should have stayed on the drawing board where it belonged.
