Chaise has 4 numbers ($1297) she should've eliminated it, the cabinet has started with a 9 in the price so she got that right ($930), and the boom box was less than $200 she got it right too ($110)! It should've been the Air Rower the right price is $799, that she would've won the $5,000.
At 4:32 do you think the contestant should ask "Do I get any of the prizes over there? Like the ones I eliminated correctly?" Bob Barkers reply ... "NO"
I can see why they retired this game. It's all luck. How do you know what is the correct prizes to eliminate each time and you could actually just eliminate them correctly in the wrong order and still win.
Because it is too dumb and you can win on luck. Let's say you don't eliminate the prizes correctly in the order they are supposed to be done, but still get the right 3. Then you win anyway.
This is a textbook example of why Bob is a way better host than Drew. For example, during the summer hiatus, Bob would do a complete pricing game inventory & any of the games that's had a long losing streak he would immediately retire. Drew on the other hand would never do such a thing because he believes if you play a game that's had a long losing streak long enough eventually someone would win.
