promotional video for the real dark hit "The Violence In Me" - single/ep taken from the second album of Norway's Pride And Fall - "Elements Of Silence". It's a breakdown in dark wave music! Watch and listen and enjoy!!!
A cold wind has blown summer away The golden leaves that fall, wake the violence in me From Iris Green to Winter Grey I guess it's the crisp air I breathe, that gives it away Now soon the ground will be covered with snow So deep within sleeps, the violence in me There's a child that walks beside me, making every step i take... Pointless They raise so tall these giant walls Give no refuge to, the cold above I share my coat and try to warm his skin, a noise that break us A sound so soar my soul it bleeds It screams for answers, It screams in need Now the cold is here Wake the violence in me
My favourite album of them still is In My Time Of Dying. The blackest and most hopeless futurepop album there is, with great song structures, only one song has the 3rd chorus. But you can't always listen to it, sometimes it can really make you feel down. But Elements Of Silence has a great sound. When you see the album cover and then hear the songs in it, it fits nicely. This song is one of their best.
they are awesome... i love this band... just as much as i like vnv nation and namnambulu... probably because they sort of sound alot alike to me... but that might just be me. thx for posting this video!
I like pride and fall, but this video is too goth =/ something I could have expected this from a more goth rock or metal band, I don't think it goes well along with an ebm band, but the song is cool
