Absolute legend. Heart of a lion, swagger like no one else. Power like no one else. The one The only Naseem hamed. One of a kind.. There'll never be another prince. This guy is on a different level. Fuck what the haters say about Barrera this Barrera that, hamed is a legend. 6 years and 15 defences featherweight king.
He had the swag the power and boxing ability far above anyone he had the talk and could back it up one of the greatest fighters this country has produced and one of the greatest to ever do. What an era the 90’s and early 2000’s was it’s all been down hill since unfortunately
How biased is the Yank commentator in the Johnson fight!!!?? "He won't be able to do things like that with a man of Tom's quality ". We all saw Naz proceed to knock 7 shades of shit out of him!! I've nothing against Boom Boom on the contrary I liked him as a fighter but those Yank commentators? If Naz was American they'd of gone wild over him but Merchant et al were always looking for his downfall instead of championing his success? Naz was excellent and no doubt made HBO a lot of money and I'm not having that the Americans didn't take to him because he was cocky? Leonard, Ali?? They loved them! Why? Because they're American simple as that. Objectivity anyone .......
Discovering Hamed's career after the fact on RU-vid. This was a SUPERB prize-fighter. Southpaw that switched his stance. Power with both hands. Threw any punch from any angle. Very accurate headhunter. Defence was almost entirely head-movement. And always went for the knockout. A pity he retired with hand problems at 28. I can see that after throwing thousands of power shots over his career.
talk is cheap from people who never boxed a day in their lives, the Prince is one of the greatest boxer's ever, his abilities were something that only a person who has done any boxing training would appreciate and respect! if he didn't retire after his only loss, he would be the greatest featherweight, bantamweight ever! he calls himself the Prince, personally in hisclass he was the king!
Style swagger confidence fast feet and a power punch always entertaining . Naturally talented and gifted.not many come.along with these attributes and max had them all
@rothsteina aw you mad? I can tell by the rage and salt 🧂 🤣 getting schooled for 12 rounds and the hump at 12th round made it funnier 😆 all the trash talk and a promised of a rematch that never happened instead he fought an unknown Spanish boxer so he can retire with a W lol 😆 enough said hahahah
Ey I don't know Naseem was a beaten boxer but those who fought him were afraid of him he was careless even vuyani bungu too was afraid of him the beast would have won the fight, the mistake he did was to looking down instead of looking him straight to the eyes, really was lucky to won all those guys who fought him
I trained with Naseem, and sparred hundreds of hours with him in Sheffield, I didn't ever have a problem hitting him, he was always a loud mouthed obnoxious arrogant individual, I always knew that if he ever faced a skilled person with focus and tenacity he would be finished, The story at the time was that Bob Arum of HBO American boxing promoter who Naseem was contracted to told Naseem that if he didn't fight a credible world contender he was going to cancel Naseems contract. Marco Antonio Berrera went further and cancelled Naseems career 👍🙏
