I used to watch him all the time, Nas, he's one of the greatest fighters of all time in my opinion and was a brilliant showman which is what you want when you pay good money.
That was one of the funniest things in boxing I have seen. When Badillo threw a punch in around two, missed by a mile and Naseem looked to his left as if to say, "Where the hell did that go?"
Round 5 was probably one of the most entertaining and beautiful examples of the sweet science 🥊 I’ve ever seen! The Great Prince putting on an absolute clinic ! I think if his hands 🙌 held up and had a longer career , he would have been equal to the great Muhammad Ali ! We miss you Prince ESPECIALLY in todays 🥊🥊 fight game ! 🫡
Fighter but not a boxer...when he fought class opposition his jaw let him down 🤣🤣🤣🤣khan is exactly the same..frank bruno..nigel ben uzzi all hand picked opponents ...joe calzaki he was class haggler duran herns pazienza rolldan hollyfield now you talking
@@michaelwalsh9757 His jaw let him down? Naseem has never been stopped in his entire career and had a great chin. Barrera couldn't even drop him once when they fought. And Naseem did beat some good fighters like Paul Ingle and Remigio Molina. Neither of these guys were the same after losing to Naseem.
@@michaelwalsh9757 "glass jaw" yet he was never knocked out? with his hands down, limbo style he was bound to touch the deck but he took some solid shots throughout his career but yeah...Barrera took him to school that night.
It’s a shame he didn’t take his biggest fight serious cause he was great. Look @the shape he’s in here. Very tone, defined & cut muscle. He looked like he just woke up from a nap against Barrera. Skinny & soft, no shape whatsoever. I just don’t understand why?? Emmanuel Stewart couldn’t believe how bad he looked & said he was worried about losing from day one! Crazy
@Shoaib Samdani your poor aleby hammed is condition , he totally demoralised by barerra And barera Challenge him to rematch but hamned refused to rematch your aleby is verry poor
One of the MOST if not THE MOST entertaining fighters 🥊🥊 of ALL time ! Only wish his hands 🙌 held up , because if he continued his career he would be the GREATEST of ALL time Muhammad Ali’s = EQUAL ! 🫡 🇺🇸 Boston 💪
Much respect for Prince naseem: look at the end of the fight / He was ready to knockout Badillo : but the referree stops the fight he knew Badillo was done. But Naseem comes over and hugs the MAN, saying I am the better fighter , I dont want to hurt you. A true MAN here
@You Tuber But what he's saying is how is Babillo the #1 ranked challenger off a loss, pretty sure he would have had some wins off the back of the loss but its still the same even today. Most mandatory challengers are puddings, usually never fought out of there native country and only looking good against domestic opposition, the rankings have always been a farce.
He only loss once!! What you mean few losses??? I swear man it’s like everyone is brainwashed over these social media hater videos made about Hamed with the titles in the videos like when cocky fighters lose and all this BS.. like cmon Hamed is a fucken legend in the world of boxing.. your an idiot
@@kiaraantonio1210 he is a legend. Anyone that’s been a fan of the sport knows that. He was highly entertaining and he paved the way for fighters like Floyd Mayweather to make the money that he made. These lower weight classes were never paid big money until Hamed. Hamed got a contract with HBO which was unheard of and he was a devastating puncher. He was not a joke at all and as an American his fight with Kevin Kelly is what turned me into a believer and fan. He was one of the first guys that utilized the idea that boxing was a business and entertaining one at that. If you could get half of the boxing public to love you while the other half hated you then you’d get people tuning in hoping to watch you win and a bunch others hoping to watch you lose. With that idea as a smart business person he recognized that they would all pay the same to see his fights. He was brilliant as a boxer and even more so as a businessman.
His defense was actually quite flawed. A common issue amongst ingle gym fighters. Holding chin in the air while moving back. However nas possessed a granite chin which more than made up for it. I do wonder though if we saw nas against a puncher like himself ( didn't exist at the time) it may well have been kryptonite for him.
The Prince would've IMO dazzled Floyd Mayweather at featherweight, he was a menacing power house display of boxing brilliance in spite of his unorthodox style, he had superb timing and defeated most of his opponents mentally before the bell rang. All hail to the King 👑
@omaru737 I am asking you seriously do you think Naz would have beaten Mayweather? Naz would IMO of been busted up & in bad shape late rds facing Mayweather. Naz would never of got to him, BTW only reason fight didn’t happen was because Naz didn’t want any SFweights at all. I cannot see how you think Naz would of beaten MayW i just cannot see at all
15:34 i didn't know that Leonard ' Nipper ' Read was also BBBC president. He was in charge of the police investigation that ultimately brought the Kray twins down.
@@kiaraantonio1210 probably you are related to 'Antonio' barera😂 you so ardently championing him in every comment section! (Still will reply to your other comments hh)
the only thing that unites Muhammed Ali more than boxing are Prince Naseem Hamed's neurons; only his neurons of Prince Naseem Hamed "Fly like butterflies, sting like a bee". (ps: his neurons definitely fly).
they hate them because they are and the will always staying the best of the best because the haters will be staying forever in there heart PLANT OF JALOUSI and that can hurt it's a very very dangerous VIRUS 👍👍👍👍👍👍 🇧🇪🇲🇦🇧🇪🇲🇦🇧🇪🇲🇦
Всё, отпрыгался, больше не будет! Баррера дал понять, что с настоящими профи он ещё не встречался. Ряшку ему начистил и выбил из него самоуверенность, сломал его волю. Кончился Насим Хамед.
You clearly don't know what you're talking about then. fighting bums until getting exposed is what happened to Ricardo Lopez when stepping up to fight someone barely world level. He then gets dropped, beat up, and forced to quit. Yet people would believe he's a great fighter. He wasn't even good or world class. Naz beat plenty of world class fighters and proved himself one of the greats. I'm happy to educate you.
@@OhNo.AnywayLastWeek. lmao so answer me a few questions then any of those guys world class boxer? And why didn't he rematch Barrera then instead of fighting an unknown Spanish boxer so he can retire with a W he did say that not that he wasn't a rematch it's that "his getting one" lmao you should be the one sitting down and not talk about boxing because you have no idea 😉
@@kiaraantonio1210 You seriously want to tell me none of those I mentioned - many world champions in multiple divisions and weight classes aren’t world class? Bungu was undefeated in almost 9 years prior to his fight with Hamed, Ingle held multiple championships at featherweight, Medina was a five-time world featherweight champion, Vázquez held world championships in three weight divisions and Johnson was able to successfully defend the title 11 times before losing to Hamed. His fight with Barrera came after he broke his hands fighting Augie Sanchez and the guy had literally not touched the gym in half a year - gaining him 35 pounds. Who in the right mind wouldn’t retire at that stage?
@@kiaraantonio1210 If you have to ask if they're world class, it's clear you don't know what you're talking about. Why would he acknowledging the world class fighters Naz fought mean he "Doesn't have any idea"? What? What does that even mean? You never got back to me on Ricardo Lopez either. Care to talk about that too?
