I know you said that the Unsc would be wiped in 40k, but it would still be interesting to see how they would interact with the different factions, and it be cool to see how the mechanicus would see A.I like Cortana, would they think of her as more a machine spirit given form or as Xenos garbage. Would they join chaos or the imperium, would the Spartans be integrated or killed off, what version of the unsc would fair the best, etc.
*Busted:* Doing a Vampire Coast related video to break out the piratespeak and jokes. *Pristine:* Breaking out the piratespeak and jokes on a video of space-elf space buccaneers who aren't the Dark Eldar.
If they were "buccaneers", they would veterans of old wars and occupying planets while hunting the local fauna and accepting jobs as freebooters or filibusters. And also pillaging the local biggest merchant from time to time.
Among the chaos factions, Night Lords are unsurpassed in drip. A little-known torture method of theirs is to force victims to watch their fashion shows, reducing their morale with how superior their drip is.
You're thinking "dip." The nightlords have DIP. It's their extra spicy guacamole. Total torture cause you want more, but you also don't. No the iron warriors? THEY have drip. Mainly oil leaks
@@mondaysinsanity8193 its free darkvision, its also good for utility. Sure its not the most balanced thing out there but the style points makes it worth it
“For once I’d like someone to not step up to the plate and stay gone instead of not showing up at the last minute.” Like the Bretonnians did when Sigmar fought Nagash?
Ackshually, since pirates didn’t sail for years at a time, they probably had more access to fresh food and wouldn’t have had as many problems with scurvy.
also a lot of problems were more just living in a pre modern era than specifically being a pirate. disease? that was common pretty much everywhere until vaccines. bad diet? most people were happy just to have food in general let alone getting enough vitamins.
@@sovietunion7643 That’s stupid. People were doing more physical work. If they were sick and malnourished, it would have been impossible. Scurvy was a problem because ships were being sent on years long voyages. Everyone knew that if they stayed at port for a few weeks, all the scurvy problems would go away. It was an administrative choice to schedule these long voyages in the name of progress.
@@rottenmeat5934 should also be added that there was a constant evolving process of rations being made to better reduce and eventually eliminate skurvy. british navy did it first with lemon juice (as far as I'm aware)
If you're going to bring v-tubers into the fold you have to mention ZoranTheBear. Between him being Leman Russ' VA in Emperor's TTS and a player in the Warhams series it's just too perfect to pass up. Also his fuzzy widdle ears are cute.
ZoranTheBear doesn't do warhammer stuff anymore, ever since James Workshop said fan animations can be sued for copywrite. He's mostly doing other stuff these days. BUT you could get Takahata.
@@TreyBurdickGod I cannot wait for him to join Hunter: The Parenting. He IS the definitive voice for Leman for me just like Zegram is Magnus and Dorn is...Dorn.
@@versok2999 Well if the elves didn't murderfuck the god(dess) of murderfucking into existence, perhaps they'd be able to keep up their population numbers without risking their souls getting nommed.
You probably already know about Kaneko Lumi, since she's in Phase Connect with Pippa, but she tried to break into Fantasy lore after a Total Warhammer 2 playthrough. Vesper Noir of HolostarsEN has also demonstrated some level of Warhammer lore knowledge.
While Pippa and Tenma are my favorites, Lumi has played TW Warhammer 2 and 3. AND Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2. While being super girly, the way she gushed watching the lore and cutscenes was amazing.
I want a book about a fight between Yriel and kaptain Badrukk (the REAL best 40k pirate) so badly. Fill it with plenty of pirate themes and jokes. Have them forced to work together near the end to take on the red corsairs only to kick some chaos butt before turning back to fighting each other. It would be glorious!! To end with, here is a pirate joke as an extra hook. What did the pirate say when he found his wooden leg in the freezer? Shiver me timbers!
12:58 In Jojo Golden Wind Pennacota Fugo straight up dips and never comes back except in his own spin-off detailing the bullshit he gets up too instead of the main story.
If you want a scene where a person refuses to step up to bat, read the last Fabius Bile book. He asks for help from a lot of the marines following him and like ninety percent of them just say, “No, fuck you”
If any of you were actually wondering who that vtuber was let me tell you. Her name is ceres fauna a member of hololive English 2 or council as its also called. She is the keeper of nature but we like to ignore that bit and just call her Mother Nature because it’s easier also she got that wholesome mom energy.
To break up the 40k vids I think It'd be pretty baller to see a vid on Diederick Kastnar AKA Archaon, the Everchosen, the Exalted grand marshal of the Apocalypse, the Three eyed king, the thirsting predator, the thrice damned, and the world razor.
Honestly it would make more sense if he was cheaper and stronger than most autarchs, but restricted to only Iyanden. Because the counterbalance is twofold. First is that the rest of your army is already very expensive, meaning making this specialist unit cheaper is justified to give more options. Second is that he is a less durable infantry amongst an army of mechs, acting as a force multiplier, so he is a squishier priority target and you need extra consideration to keep alive.
Hey Pancreas, since you like all elves except TES ones, what do you think of elves from The Dragon Prince. These elves besides having pointy ears also have horns and four fingers and have an innate connection to their magic. If you want to, give it a try and I hope you enjoy the show.
Am I the only one who thinks since he did a video on TES it'd be fun if he did some on actual historical figures/events with his spin on the way he talks about it?
Vtubers if you insist. Nyanners, Bao, Shylilly, Honey the Goblin, Taka (tfs), Jocat, Ironmouse, Kson, Nyanners Boy toy (lord something), Haruka, FBK, Onigiri, Haachama, Buffpup, Chibidoki, Nazuna, Korone, Pekora, heavenly farther, Nuxtaku, Elite Miko, Athena Bambina (this one does Bible study), Rin Penrose, Trickywi, Girl Dm, Zentreya, Botan, Marin, Amelee, Okayu and Froot obviously there is more I haven't even listed all of VShojo and Hololive and i don't know much of holo-stars or Nijisangi this is just off the top of my head if you wish for the elaboration of any just enquire
To add on, ProjektMelody would be a VERY spicy one to blurt out; she does NSFW stuff. There’s also IronMouse, ZoranTheBear, Momo, Hime Hajime, and Limealicious, to name ones that I’m familiar with
Oh hey Pancreas. I found a fictional Sci Fi setting that more then likely go head to head with all the Warhammer 40k factions in a long term series of conflicts on both space and ground forces directly. The name of the Sci Fi setting is called "Ancerious Galactic" by a user name EmperorMyric who writes and draws alot of Sci Fi worldbuilding and general art. In his Galactic setting and events the varies factions and nations are each very powerful and advance in their own right. Capable of producing massive ships such as Dreadnoughts and Battleships that can be measured from 20km - 50km. And they can produce, maintain, and field many of them in a relatively short amount of time. In this galactic setting even a group of pirates were able to create a massive ring megastructure around a star over the many years and have effectively created their own unofficial nation where trillions live. Factions are capable of activiting weapons from their fleets which would easily shatter planets apart. They even faced their own massive galaxy wide invasion by a empire of interdimensional invaders called the Draken and were able to beat them back barely after luring them into fighting a grand massive battle where literally trillions vessels from both the Galactic alliance's armada and the Draken invaders fought one another for the fate of the galaxy for days as the descriptions state. Where the Draken fleets are decimated and the Alliance quickly defeat what's left of them and close off the portal between their reality and their home galaxy. There are also some other entities powerful entities about on par or above the C'Tan in power. And anomalous sections of the galaxy such as "The Dark Stars" which are a bit less scarier version of 40k's Ghoul Stars and less well known about. Eventually the denizens of the Ancerious Galactic setting achieve extra galactic travel and actively travel between the Milky Way and the dwarf galaxies near by it. They is a powerful verse going by the descriptions and worldbuilding alone and would likely beat many Warhammer 40k factions in long term conflicts. It's a very interesting sci fi verse to research and observe. It's pretty powerful I think by the tech scaling of the Forerunners they would put them at Tier 1 as extra galactic capable powerhouses.
I love your work! Would you be willing to do a video on the Leagues Of Votan? I know they are rather new, but I wanna hear you validate my opinions on them being cool in concept.
Oh boy there’s a lot of vtubers here’s some I can remember the name of the top of my head: calliope mori, takanashi kiara, Amelia Watson, Ina, tokino sora, kizuna ai, shy lily, takahata, Usada pekora, Minato aqua, zoran the bear 🐻 (kinda) , shishiro botan, ceres fauna (I saw you used her in the vid)… yeah that’s as many as I can remember there’s me too but I’m too small 😅
I did enjoy the Valedor book that went over Iyanden's desperate attempt to stop two Tyranid Hive Fleets from combining. I thought it was a good portrayal of how the different groups of Eldar act towards each other and showed how their military operates.
Yes I have had that issue in my resume games mostly in axis and allies. I especially get mad when I'm telling my units to fall back to a town we own or to base to regen and regroup just for them to keep turning back around to fight the enemy even though there's like I tank or haft track left in the squad. I've lost to many units and battles because of that.
10:11 God, thanks to that image, I'm now imagining every psychic message received is alway immediately followed by: "AAAAAAAAGH! POWER! I-INCREDIBLE POWER! AAAAAAGH! Chuck did not have a fun time in that series.
Personally i reccomend Enna Alouette, Selen Tatsuki, Rin Penrose, another phase connect member in Kaneko Lumi, Shilily, our lord and savior Neuro-sama (and by proxy her creator Vedal), Anny, Shilily, Miori Celesta, Ironmouse, Henya the Genius, KSON, Takanashi Kiara, Airani Iofifteen, Kureji Ollie, Ayunda Risu, Mika Melatika, Mysta Rias, Vox Akuma, Lulua Rina, Bao, and fitting with the video's theme of pirates, Hoshou Marine Do what you must with this list
How are you still able to make elves cool? Or even cooler then what my smooth brain thought. Also could we get a video on either Rylanor the Unyielding and / or Tyberos the Red Wake (Carcharodons included)?
Yriel: When other eldar think your ego is really out of hand but you´re too damn good at your job. The best story that I have heard it was from his corsair days when one of his seers intercepted an Imperial astropath broadcast naming ships that his corsairs had attacked and destroyed. He had his psykers bust their asses broadcasting ALL ships the Eldritch Raiders had wrecked - Imperium, Chaos, you name it - to anyone in the warp that would listen, and it was a LONG list - and their signal was supposedly powerful enough that it had astropaths in several sectors relay this message for hours if not day on end, killing no few of them. Because if those Khaine-damned primitives want to know just how much of a bad mofo the Prince was, they WERE going to get the Full Monty. Granted, there is an almost as balls-to-the-wall narcissist space elf pirate on the dark eldar side, but he doesn´t quite have the same list of achievements to go with his swagger.
As I got the same exact soundtracks in my RU-vid playlist, I start to believe good taste in music isn't that subjective They do quite well as background music btw
Alright the elf pirate wanted more anime girls so I bring to him these Vtubers to torture his friends with… Nyanners: An insane cat who is definitely not seiso. Ironmouse: One of if not the most adorable, wholesome, and not at all innocent Vtubers who deserves the world. Miilkeywayz: Now anyone who knows who I’m talking about can confirm… COW. Kurumi vt: Yandere, that’s all that needs to be said. Juniper Actias: An SCP that lives in Alaska and can draw. She also designs her avatar model for the most part! Moth girl best girl. Erika Byakko: She’s relatively new but she’s quickly become one of my favorite Vtubers. She also loves souls like games. Limealicious: I added her because she knows a bit about warhammer and is wholesome. She’s a smaller Vtuber but amazing nonetheless. KanekoLumi: She also knows a bit about warhammer and is an amazing singer! So now I’ve given the elf simp some ammunition to use against his friends!
Alright so the one vtuber I can think of is Kaneko Lumi, who gained her notoriety in the 40k community by playing battlefleet gothic and watching astartes, among some other games like total war warhammer
about 9 months later so i dont even know if this end of the video thing is still up but projekt melody and matara kan are into warhammer so they could be fitting, juniper actias is also into a few different things tabletop wise in general. as far as the level of masochism and dommy jokes that come up especially when slaanesh or dark elves come up take our pick on anyone from the circle with people like nihmune, buff, saruei, camilla and all them in it
I'm comparing Yriel's 9th edition stats to his 10th edition index stats, and for the most part, his stats and weapon stats are mostly the same. His wounds goes down from 6 to 4, but other than that, it's the same. His points did go up though from 95 to 100 points. However, his abilities are traded out (except for the 4+ invul save), he now has; Hero of Iyanden: While this model is leading a unit, add 1 to the Objective Control characteristic of models in that unit. And Prince of Corsairs: If your army includes this model, after both players have deployed their armies, select up to three Aeldari units from your army and redeploy them. When doing so, you can set those units up in Strategic Reserves if you wish, regardless of how many units are already in Strategic Reserves. Yriel can also attach himself to four different units; those being, Corsair Voidreavers, Corsair Voidscarred, Guardian Defenders, and Storm Guardians. For the time being, this is the 10th edition Prince Yriel.
Pirates are actually really fun. As a fellow person with a history degree, I'd recommend a book called The Pirate Republic by Colin Woodard. It portrayed them really well
"The seer council kept trying to reign him in but he's too much of a big hothead" What they need to do is to partner him up with a straight-laced, by-the-books Eldar.
Iconoclast's Mound (which supposedly contains lingering essence of all the Eldar gods, despite them being dead) could be a way to bring back the Eldar gods. Iconoclast's Mound is also probably how Asuryan acts through Asurman.
PancreasNoWork: [after half a minute talking about pirates being fun] "And this man is the pirate to end all pirates of Warhammer 40K" *Ork Freebooterz want to know your location*
What good timing for me. I just bought the Tyrannid Omnibus as my first Warhammer book and the story of Yriel getting his cursed spear is the first story.
I will do this Pancreas. For you. For the Imperium! FOR THE EMPEROR! Vtuber list go: Tonkatsu Sinclaire Akami Hibiko Mori Calliope Kobo Kanaeru Takanashi Kiara Ouro Kronii Hakos Baelz Amelia Watson Ninomae Ina'nis Nanashi Mumei Tsukumo Sana That's about all I can come up with rn My knowledge is spotty and my taste is bad
Wealth. Fame. Power. The man who had everything in this world... The Pirate King, Gold Roger. The great treasure he left behind, One Piece has opened the curtain on a grand era! It is a time when eager pirates set sail, battle, and become great! The Great Age of Pirates! Words he spoke drove countless men out to sea. And so men set sights on the Grand Line, in pursuit of their dreams. The world has truly entered a Great Pirate Era!
11:00, Id also like the other side of that coin, A guy shows up acting like hes saving them when shit is dire, when the defenders are actually doing alright
If you like Halo ship names, you'll love Exfor's Jeraptha ship names, such as the old reliable stealth ship 'Rock Solid And Suspiciously Convenient Alibi'
Love the videos. Have a wry smile coloring my ugly mug, for quite sometime after And speaking of returning the Craftworlds to glory, any possibility we may receive your insight into 10th edition stats relative to the lore I.e. inconsistent. Cheers
Shitting on the rest I can get behind, but wearing eye patches to help you fight better in the dark is cool af. Cooler than everyone losing eyes for sure
