Does this work for hp ink tank 315? Because even when I held the resume/cancel button for 2-10 seconds, the printer didn't print the WiFi direct number. But, when I pressed the cancel/wake up from sleep mode button, it printed a page, with information, but with no WiFi direct number or name. Please give me feedback on this.

Please try below mentioned steps to fix the issue. Clear the Android OS Print Spooler cache Sometimes resetting and clearing the Android OS Print Spooler cache can resolve the issue. On your Android device, tap the Settings icon, and the select Apps or Applications. Select Show System Apps. Scroll down the list, and then select Print Spooler. Depending on your Android device, tap Storage, and then select Print Spooler. Select Clear Cache and Clear Data. Open the item you want to print, tap the menu icon, and then tap Print. I unfortunately left paper in the photocopy space where the originals are released after copying in my printer and upon removing the pages a little black thing shaped as a "T" was attached to the paper. Is it from the printer and will that upset anything??

When you open the document in the HP Smart app select the options from the top right (slider icon) then select the colour&quality option from the bottom, then color option and you'll be able to select black only. Tge same printer works on other fones but it seems that hp printers dont recognise tecno fones, the drivers are not supported, seems so, printer dont get connected to fone while print option is under consideration though wifi is connected to Fone

in every official website and even on hp manual guide, it shows that press and hold the button to show the report which contains the wifi direct password, sadly that didn't work for me, on hp laser 107w model, the print out report had no information about the wifi direct password, and dumb HP website support is useless

+Krypt After opening the PDF go to the print Dialog box. On the Print dialog Box, On the Bottom Left there is a check box which says Print to file. Uncheck that check Box, you would be able to print from your physical printer. In the print dialog there is a box that says"CHANGE", open that and select your printer.

@@HPSupport that's funny, it has a wifi card. I got it working from my smartphone some years ago. After Friday's day long frustration, I manually got it on my wifi network, after your arrangement stopped working. Lastly, the printer was advertised that way on its box. You must be mistaken. +40mmrrsmith Wi-Fi Direct is a connection option with most HP wireless printers released in 2014 and later. Use Wi-Fi Direct when a local wireless network is unavailable. Please refer this document for complete information: bit.ly/3umsZR6
