My EmploymentDiscrimination treatment by my former employer has damaged me in a way that I will never be able to practice as a health care professional ever again. I am badly affected by my former employer’s treatment and by my former employer persistently sabotaging my litigation efforts-and I currently suffer ill health. 1 QUESTION: In consequence I should like to study the law for a degree and my change of career so that I could help other people who also suffer from discrimination. 2. QUESTION: Although I am presently undergoing medical treatment, being further subjected to daily triggers of fighting EmploymentDiscrimination, I know that I will require a residential reconvalescence / rehabilitation to close this painful chapter and to move on with my life after. Can I ask my former employer to pay for that specific treatment? Can my former employer also lawfully pay for my law degree if I am able to do so?
It's called settlement talks because the parties are working it out on their own terms, outside the court and the rules and laws that regulate the litigation. You're talking about using leverage. The key is justifying and convincing the defendant that they should pay for the treatment and pay for your law degree. Connect them to satisfying damages that you sustained.
Let's say my former employer was a School/Hospital. Aside from money, would a degree (Let's say a JD degree for example) be negotiable, within the settlement?
It's called settlement talks because the parties are working it out on their own terms, outside the court and the rules and laws that regulate the litigation. If using a JD degree (in whatever capacity) can help you secure settlement, use it as leverage. Connect it to satisfying damages that you sustained. I hope you can watch today's video of Wilfred Lee. We talk about using a law degree in settlement talks and have varying perspectives. It's worth listening to.

Is Settlement a wise move on an executive contract with major corporation- ? I’m beyond over 12b motions and insufficient answers on behalf of the defense counsel who refuse to negotiate and all they do is say all claims are barred by res judicata even though the complaint was dismissed for want of jurisdiction/moot, filed in state court, they removed, 12b, appeal, file back in state court, company amends by laws, removes case to federal court, and now 12b again- like I don’t know why the computer district judge and young magistrate won’t remand or make the company answer- this involves a workers comp claim- among others, I’m truly not sure how much more I can do this fake game
I don't know your case, its facts and circumstances. You need a Workers Comp attorney. Contact your State Bar and ask for a list of Workers Comp attorneys you can consult with.
