This song made me fall in love with Harry Styles music. His music lifts me up, and I take it with me everywhere I go.I listen to it when I want to jam, when I pressure wash my driveway or when we are in the car with the family. Works every time!
I love watching industry professionals react to Harry's work. I know he's brilliant but I'm just a fan. I love when people in the business see it too. He is incredible. This is an incredibly beautiful, haunting video to match a deeply heartfelt song.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate how hard it must have been to film this video at the ending scene as Harry would have had to be quite skilled at controlling his own rational fear of drowning....I mean tilting your head back underwater without snorting bubbles out of your nose to manage the airway equilibrium is extremely hard, yet he maintains his cool. Then add in the intensity of conveying the song’s emotion whilst “singing” to the track, MINDBLOWING!
@@okaymayara_ Not sure what the dry for wet technique is but this was actually filmed under water. They built the room to be able to withstand being flooded. There is an interview with the director that talks about how it was done.
Spauldide so cool! I didn’t know that, when i first watched the mv i simply assumed it was made with dry for wet technique because it’s very common specially in movies (like the shape of water)
Its kind of weird seeing people who aren't swimmers reactions to underwater stuff because i have been chilling underwater and singing since i was 6 and i don't even realize it's not normal for everyone
A couple of gold nuggets In this video: When Harry is lookin up as he becomes totally submerged in the water, his face momentarily morphs into teenage Harry. A rebirth of sorts. A resurrection. The opening scene of Harry-he is wet and exhausted, but he has survived the heartbreak. The video then flashes back to show the journey he endured. Finally, about midway through the video, the window shutters suddenly fling open. Barely visible, a shadowy outline of the Eiffel Tower appears-A nod to his French former girlfriend who left him heartbroken 😞.
I can't tell if it's the way that he articulates "drink in my wandering hands" that sounds like water drops or if they layered water dropping underneath those words. Either way I freaking love it
Blake Thanks for your thoughts on this amazing song from Harry Styles. I am much older than the majority of your audience and Harry's as well but I am forever enthralled by the talent Harry possesses. Like you I find the tone and timber of Harry's voice intoxicating and the artistry of this video is superb. As excellent as this video is however, Harry's live performance at the Brit Awards earlier this year is absolutely breathtaking and adds layers of emotion that cannot be matched.
Like you, I am much older than Harry's fan base but I am blown away by his talent and can't get enough! He is absolutely mesmerizing. 👍 Jean in California
@@gentlespiritjw4904 I'm with the two of you, older than his normal fan base, but I can't get enough of his voice tone. I find it absolutely addicting and beautiful. Not to mention the emotion he puts in his songs. I discovered him last year when I was in the hospital with my son who was being treated for cancer. I listened to If I Could Fly every night.
I'm with all of you.. Sign of the Times pulled me in an I've been following Harry ever since.. An I'm 50, I just fell in love with this young man.. His talent an creativity is over the top.. I feel his soul thru his music, definitely a blessing to the music industry today..
Seems we are the new age fans...I’m 57 & I’m just in love w/Harry & his voice...such an old soul for a young man! His voice just grabs me & keeps me interested...I’ll add of course he is very easy on the eyes-had a boyfriend in high school that he reminds me of!! To all of us a bit older than the fan base - we are as young as we feel - I feel young!!! ❤️🐞
I listened to this in the bath with my head completely submerged underwater... It was like sleeping. Serene and beautiful, had i not needed to breathe i wouldn’t have left.
Your damn reactions are so PRECIOUS the way damn precious harry song is. Even if I muted you/the video, for me, it was enough to look at your facial expression, or head move, or a subtle/a radiant smile, closed eyes, nodding, whispering "yes..." or amaze you sank in to realize that emotional impact our genius produces by his Falling (
Loved your reaction, and to hear you say “ yeah, I’m gonna go watch this several more times” US FANS- SAME! He is so amazing, his original music, and all his covers just blows us away- check out SLEDGEHAMMER that he did on the Howard Stern show - AMAZING!!! Plus it’s up close with his band which they are so incredible too! ( a great interview with Howard to check out too , for your own pleasure- it gives you tons of information about his life) NPR Tiny Desk is great intimate setting where he is unplugged and raw vocals and it still sounds like the studio version! Please do more Harry Styles contest! Thanks!!
Having lost my Dad and then my brother recently, this song hits me really deeply. I have listened and cried for the past 2 weeks. I don’t know who I am without them, so I am clinging to this song. At least I can always hear this song, and Harry Styles’ music will last forever. I can’t hear my brother or my Dad anymore.
@@NCO1426 thank you so much. It seems to come in waves. I seem to be the kind of girl that needs to be allowed to feel devastatingly sad when I need to, and then I pull myself up and out of it. I appreciate your kind words. ❤️
This was literally my reaction the first time I saw this video. It was also the first time I heard the song, and the impact w the vid and song combined was just.. wow. I might have cried a little. As simple this song is, it has so much feeling in it, and the way he sings is just pure emotion. I feel this song is highly underrated. I'm glad it had the same impact on others as well.
That "yep" at the line "and I'm well aware I write too many songs about you" just remind me of the comment "if you only knew about Larry" in a previous reaction, where you actually let us know you're a Larrie too 🥰💚💙
Very amazing reaction!!!...I'm a bit old for maybe most of Harry's fans but this man got a very amazing voice that I became a huge fan...and as much as I love his MV (which is not many by the way)...I love more of Harry's live performances,he is a total performer and so much more and he doesn't just make music, he does it and he sings it because he love it...and he is one of the most amazing singer out in this world...he's covers are really very good too...he nailed them every single time...
OMGGGGG YAAAS I LOVED IT!!! I really like how you talk about it, and i was amazed too by the vocals and video hahaha hope u continue to do this videos😍
It is amazing how this work of art was written in 20 minutes. It is impressive how it sings each word, it has a lot of feeling and for that little tremendous video. Thanks for reacting to this ❤️❤️😭😭😍😍
Hi Blake! I have never subscribed to a channel after watching only one video... until now. You won me over with this genuine reaction video, and now I can't wait to watch more. Thanks! 💜
thats a expensive Gucci shirt he is wearing and about 2500 dollars of rings he is so talented to i have heard this song about 100 times I cry everytime
Hello, greetings from El Salvador 🇸🇻💙 Harry Styles is my favorite singer, I enjoy all his music and his video presentations 😁 ... so thank you very much for reacting to this excellent singer and songwriter ... please react to Harry's cover of Sledgehammer Peter Gabriel. ... it's very good, also chains ... really all their covers are good just like their music 😍 kisses and a big hug.
I gotta say this. Falling is not just a song for me, it's a whole new level of feeling that I'm *going to* get when *that* happens. It's like I cry while listening to it but i dont know like what's the reason behind those tears. It just gets me emotional. And then I kinda understand how a person feels after a heartbreak, not just like in relationships but even when you're betrayed by anyone who was close to your heart.
