Hello my name is Joey. Been watching and loving your videos for a few years now. You’ve helped me decide on the uniden r4 detector and now a newly hardwired Viofo a229 plus duo. The dash cam is definitely a bit confusing and overwhelming at first but I’m slowly learning and utilizing its features. I am currently using low bit rate recording for parking mode. G sensor on high so it can pin a certain video if I were to get bumped into. I have a question, does the motion detection flag videos in the low bit rate recording parking mode? I have it set to the low sensitivity for motion detection. Because I do not want any videos flagged for motion detection while I am parked. Just g sensor if I am hit. There is no setting to turn motion detection off during parking mode. I’d love to see a new video from you on the a229 plus/pro since you make super high quality RU-vid content that I love. Your overview video was great but I’d love some more details. Thanks man!
It’s actually quite crazy that a modern EV full of cameras did not come with build in Dashcam, I think the Korean market one actually have it but got deleted for US market.
Yep, plus often provides longer parking record time and avoids issues that happens with certain cars that really don’t like the added power drain when parked. They charge from your alternator while drive.
