I listened to these guys in 2001-2002 when I was going to Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Linkin Park, and Static-X concerts. I always thought they were underrated. Still sounds great today!
Sink through the floor Feels no different today I'll tell you it's like The sky's getting further away Still close without a reason Still the same when I hold it inside Still close without a reason Still real when I have it in sight Pounding me to black, take my eyes Say the reasons, tells me not to try Pounding me to black, take my eyes Say the reasons, tells me not to try All those things you keep on telling me I'll keep on saying it's all wrong Many times over again I don't want to see that time coming soon Thanks so much for your thoughtless reason I thank you more for the greed you hide inside Thanks so much for your thoughtless reason I thank you more for the greed you hide in sight Pounding me to black, take my eyes Say the reasons, tells me not to try Pounding me to black, take my eyes Say the reasons, tells me not to try Sink through the floor Feels no different today I'll tell you it's like The sky's getting further away Getting further away Getting further away Getting further away Getting further away
You know, I picked up this album in college about 7 years ago. It was in a broken case in the bookstore, the disc was in good condition, and I got it for $1.00. I don't know who brought it in, but that was the best purchase I made that year. Still can't believe it's been 7 years and I still really, REALLY enjoy this song.
I found this song in the weirdest way. My source? An experimental behind-the-music show on MTV. About Eminem. The soundtrack they used was impeccable. That was literally 20 years ago. Couldn't find the song anywhere for years, but learned how to play the counter melody/rhythm on guitar. Eventually searched for it 6 years after the fact translating the tabs on Google. And I finally found it. And I was so relieved. They should've stuck around and stuck with this direction.
@@mr.pussycat6620 Please name some, because Iv been in need of new music for a very long time. And it seems these days most new bands play it safe for the radio, and dont take risks. I mean 3teeth is about the only great thing iv found in awhile.
@@sinskinner depends which genre you're into. I mostly listen to garage, indie, blues-rock and folk stuff, so here are some bands that I would consider good music: Royal Blood, Bass Drum Of Death, Wavves, Silversun Pickups, The Dreadnoughts, Dorothy, Brody Dalle, The Heavy (most of their albums are from the 2010s), James Mcmurtry and Fidlar. And of course there are older bands that are still releasing awesome stuff today, like Clutch for example. If you like hard and/or blues-rock you should check out the "doomriders"-radio station on jetsetradio.live I'm not an active metal listener, so I'm sorry if you're more into that, but I'm sure you'll find something good if you're searching hard enough. Heard then for the first time in the End of Days soundtrack. Still listening to this band in 2024. Perfect albums. They're like an industrial version of The Cure.
This song is so badass! I didnt see End of Days until years after it came out and never played Jet set radio. I think i saw this on MTVX when i was 9 years old and loved it!
@@TheDuduzinhobr They don't have to be mutually exclusive. Nu metal had a lot of different branches, this was on the industrial side along with Static-X, Powerman 5000, Spineshank etc.
I remember when MTV used to to play music videos. And in the mornings I would wake up and listen to this back in the early 2000s. Good old days back when I used to have cable TV and there was something worth listening to and watching.
End of days album showed me this song, I know it's weird but someone gave me a bunch of CDs they found I love this song and most this bands content is perfect to me
crazy to see this video at the age i am ....34, i actually watch them in person before they were big. my friends and i in middle school would ride our bikes to around Van Nuys and we'd run into many underground bands like this. heard them playing and as curious as we were by the sound of these incredible tunes we check them out, i so happened to have bought one of the first released albums single edition and a shirt. would love to see them perform again
FDJ will always be my fav band of all time - love that you referenced them! Saw them in 2000 with Fuel in a tiny club / last min show in Houston and it’s forever in my head :)
@TomHatziemanouel I remember here in Brazil when I went to the cinema to see "end of days" and at some point this song played (at the ending I think) and I was like: "WOWWWWW! This song is awsome!" I've tried to buy the cd for years but I think you guys never released it here. Thanks for this song!
First heard these guys on the "Valentine" movie soundtrack! One of the many bands that made that soundtrack the shit! I wish these guys would've stayed around longer.
I was 16 years old when this gem came out .. 😎 chilling with the band mates hitting up concerts on Hollywood Blvd .. the good old days. Not a worry in mind
I heard it on end of days movie and automatically recognized it. I been searching for this for years. Use to love this video on mtvX, glad i finally found it.
