Have you had any galvanic reactions with the metal guards? I’m forced to use one as I snapped the bottom 2” of my skeg in the driveway pushing it back up into the shed. We forgot we lowered it to let the kids ride past.
good idea but in practise its crap. will lower the performance of the motor by the turbulance it will cause in water going to the prop... if you want to protect the skeg fine. but dont have it going round the bullet making it a ugly bulbous piece of crap that will destroy your performance, just have it along the blade of the skeg only.
