39:20 there's actually a good episode in Batman the animated series that explores that conundrum of "Did Batman create these criminals?" where Batman is kidnapped along with a district attorney and is essentially put on trial by the inmates of Arkham who have taken control of the asylum and the district attorney who dislikes Batman must defend him.

For future Arkham games, when you hide in a vent or on the ceiling and there is an enemy body nearby, the enemies will be able to locate you because they will be looking around the body for signs of somebody. Also, knockdown takedowns cause noise and will alert enemies to your location. Same goes for glide kicking.

20:30 I think you are the first player that fell into Mad Hatter's trick during stopping Protocol 10. If you saw Hatter's story through those riddles, it shows that Hugo Strange used some of Hatter's hypnotize technique on his TYGER soldiers, force them to have no choice but following his every command.

I'd recommend Clown Puncher 139's video of Hugo Strange in his one amazing scene video called I Have Saved Gotham, because he actually goes into detail and notices little things that 1st time players wouldn't notice while playing. (after you've completed the main story of Arkham City)

40:50 Their was a really great CGI cinematic trailer for the game that had a mystery man torturing a solider after his squad was defeated by Batman, that is the guy and of course Strange is the one revealed to be torturing him. Fun little Easter egg that they put his corpse into the game. That trailer is also the reveal that he knows Batman is Bruce Wayne.

Fun fact Hugo strange in comics and in the Arkham universe has a bat suit that he wears. In riddler’s interview tape riddler will bring up that strange has a bat suit in his closet that he wears. You can find the tape by doing the riddles and collecting the trophy’s.

All the of Arkham games - side missions, collectibles, etc. included - canonically take place within one night each. Which kind of stretches my ability to suspend my disbelief in Knight especially. Think of the tapes! You unlocked Mad Hatters tapes just by defeating him. Some lore about Strange in there! Catwoman and Harley usually have no real overlap. Except for when Batman is fighting Joker and/or Harley, and I think there has been that one time where they teamed up as a 3 woman team called Gotham City Sirens.

Just a tip in case it helps in the future: I noticed that sometimes when you're facing a bunch of guys with guns in the stealth parts, you'll use the disruptor on one to neutralize his gun and then drop down and take him out. That helps if you mess up and somehow he sees you and shoots, but 99 times out of 100 you're gonna sneak up on them and take them out with no problem. Where the disruptor really helps is not so much on guys you're attacking but on guys nearby who might walk over and see you attacking, because then if they catch you in the act they can't shoot you. And they stand there wondering what's wrong with their gun and you can take them out too if nobody else is close enough to see.

I played AC when it first came out and played it again about a month ago. It is fun watching you play through since it is so fresh on my mind. AC is easily my favorite of all the Arkham Knight games but they are all good.

Also, LOVED when we saw the lights go on and you figured out how to maneuver the batarang into the electrical field to pick up a charge. It's moments like these that are not to be upset about, but celebrated. Now you have another way to pick up those Riddler trophies and hear that sweet, sweet reward sound with sometimes Edward Nigma himself complaining.

if you exit Arkham city with cat woman you get special ending credits which are a bit ... dark, but its a cool touch that doesn't affect the game

Dunno if anyone's said this already, but you can also use Explosive Gel to trigger those Riddler switches. A lot of times it's WAY easier than using Remote Batarangs

Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy not only are all friends (that occasionally fight each other, as villains do) they were even on a team together. When the three of them are together, they're known as The Gotham City Sirens. With Catwoman's choice, it actually forces you to make the choice you made regardless. If you opted to leave, you'd get a short scene of Selina walking out with the loot, a game over and the whole thing rewinds back to the choice. The only way to proceed is to go save Batman. The dead TYGER guard you saw strapped to the gurney when looking for the dead bodies behind the doors was actually seen in the trailer for this game. The trailer showed TYGER's first attempt to capture Batman by attacking him while he was out on patrol in Gotham. The guard here was interrogated by Hugo Strange about the failure, which led to Strange ordering Bruce Wayne be captured at his press conference instead. As Strange tells you in the opening of the game, it is way easier to capture Bruce Wayne than it is Batman.

You REALLY need to pay attention to words on the screen lol. So many times, the solution is right there in front of you. Also, listen to the dialogue between characters, and sometimes when talking to themselves, and what's being said in the background. The answers to most of your questions were said 30 seconds prior. Like charging up the batarang with electricity. It was explained in Penguin's museum in the room with the electric fence when you try and get the Riddler trophies for that room. But, you just marked them, so I guess you wouldn't have known that information. Also, just the batarang controls in general lol. There's also another trophy in the sewer where you have to use electricity to open a gate.

You could've gone up the elevator hatch and got the drop on the guards, and that vent vent outside wasn't an exit it was another way to navigate the room.

Gotham City Sirens was a comic series that ran from 2009 to 2011 that centred on Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn teaming up. Harley and Ivy have been in a relationship for a while, especially after it was showcased in the Harley Quinn cartoons. Beyond that, all have separately spent time on both sides of the law. Catwoman is a recurring ally of Batman (and almost married him in the comics a few years ago). Harley has been a member of the Suicide Squad (team of villains doing black ops for the US Government) and has recently been an occasional Batman ally too (as she's worked to define herself as separate from The Joker), and Ivy has been part of some versions of the Birds of Prey (a primarily-female hero team led by Batgirl/Oracle, Black Canary, and Huntress). They're as often antiheroes as villains.

No you're right. Ivy and Harley are lovers in some continuities, even getting married. In the Batman the Animated Series (the show that created Harley Quinn), when the creators were exploring the idea of Harley away from Joker they had her lay low with Ivy when the two robbed the same place at the same time. Harley and Ivy hit it off in the show and became close friends. This was expanded on in the comics when Harley made the jump to them, having Ivy and Harley develop feelings for each other. Harley is basically the only human Ivy trusts, to the point she's given Harley the antidote to Ivy's signature toxins.

Batman wont kill no matter what, but he's willing to drop the rest of his code for the ones he cares Spoilers below in one comic, the moment he knows Talia is pregnant, he rejects for a brief moment to risk himself by being Batman, because he doesn't want his child to grow up without a father like him (Ra's needs him to return being Batman so they trick him into thinking Talia had a miscarriage) and in another one where he reunites with Red Hood, he argues with Barbara over him not being a criminal (despite he totally is, a murderer and all of that), because he's willing to just dismiss that to get Jason back with them

To answer your question about how long Catwoman had been hanging there with Ivy, I'm pretty sure it's been about four or five hours in-story, because Strange started his countdown to Protocol 10 at what I think was about four hours, then Selina escaped Ivy right before it happened
