Now y’all are Oscar Mike for a raid. You’re hugging the tree line, $17,000 NODs are crystal clear and you’re ready to engage. Wait, there’s a buzzing. It’s familiar. Tactical hand signals deployed - freeze. You finally see it, a blacked out drone with no lights overhead. At first you want to shoot it down, but no. That will give away your position. It draws closer. It has some kind of can thing on the bottom. You study it for a moment before it starts hissing. WTF - is it spraying something? Gross, you can even taste it. What the hell is that? Engage! Blap blap blap down goes the drone. You run over it as a fine mist of whatever the hell that was settles around you. You read the can. One line reads: ‘Welcome to aerosolized Ketamine’ Oh SHIT. You feel it coming on strong. Special reasoning distorts. A burning sense of self-awareness dawns on you. You look around at your boys, and dawn the agonizing epiphany that dressing up like the GI Joe toys you played with as kids is incredibly silly and a little gay. You wonder if you’re going to be able to make it through the woods in this state, but freeze all thoughts once you hear a loud hum, like there’s a giant speaker nearby. Get ready. For the next hour you will be bombarded with horrifyingly spooky sound effects that you and the boys won’t even be able to talk over. Are your ears melting or is the ketamine? Abort Mission - abort, abort, abort. You stand up to run but are overwhelmed with haunting sounds and altered perception of light and distance. You have fallen prey to it… The 3D SHTF PROGRAM
We have earthwork forts from before the Romans that display all the classic features of large homestead defense. One point they all have in common is that the area they are defending has high agricultural value. They did not defend wilderness.
I think I would like to hear about expanding one's community. Why is it we can't talk to each other? Like minded people should be able to band together. I don't understand this "every man for himself" attitude that is so prevalent.
I think every man for him self is the last thing your going to fall back on when you completely cut off, you as an individual is your entire self, the last man standing or (every man for himself) comes form a simple way to harden and ensure survival. Kinda like building a building you need a strong foundation theirs no better one then making sure you are not the weakest link. After that mind set you build up strengthening your community not the other way around.
Signs, lights, cameras, fences, bushes, locks, and two seniors with guns and pepper spray (and more friends on call). All the normal rules apply, even when you are older.
I live in Italy. What do you recommend as an escape backpack. A backpack designed to survive a long time and which isn't too heavy. I was thinking about Eberlestock Operator, or a Gunslinger II. What do you recommend?
Just depends you can still have a community even if your neighbors are far away. I grew up in a home that was over a 1/2 mile from any neighbors. We still made things work. Alot if walking lol

As I really and truly want to go around " Dirty T" or " Ol' Pueblo" with a Plate Carrier, AR-15 Rifle and Beretta 92FS Pistol, I Myself cannot. Tucson Police Department and Pima County Sheriff's Office can only do so much , and, The City and County is becoming more dangerous , no thanks to an Open, Porous United States - Mexican Border, ETA approximately 45 minutes or so from My AO / FOB.
