The PlayStation 3 store is closing on July 2 2021 and here are some PS3 games I'm going to buy before the store closes down. The Sony PSP store is also closing on July 2nd while the PS Vita Store will close on August 25th 2021.

Don't forget there are alot of ps1 and ps2 games on the store that are expensive to get a physical copy like Suikoden 2 and God Hand.

I'm kinda late, but if you guys want to buy RATCHET DEADLOCKED, I recommend you buy Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault instead, because you actually get Deadlocked for free when buying Full Frontal Assault (at least if you buy it digitally)

You can play any of The House of the Dead games in PS3 , with the Dualshocker 3 or PS move , also the same goes for the PS3 versions of Resident Evil Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles.

Nice vid and recommendations. I still need to get Tokyo Jungle, as that does look like a novel game. Since the announcement, I've downloaded a few titles from the store that I wanted before it closes : Trash Panic, Twisted Metal Black (PS2 digital version), Shatter, Motorstorm RC and The Last Guy. All pretty inexpensive, and unique games. I wonder how PSN sales have spiked on PS3 since the closure announcement! Sony know what they're doing!

@@PABGames Ratchet Deadlocked was a free game for a limited time. IDK if was a bug or something, but it was free and i think i had to keep it downloaded cuz today i’m unable to download it and have to buy it

@@danielpreilly77 Small world, Dan! lol :-D The PS3 has a HUGE list of games that are worth playing, so it is hard to hone down to just a few. Have you played The Last of Us yet? That one is a crown jewel on the system. I'd also recommend all of the Uncharted games. Naughty Dog is a favorite company of mine. The Infamous games are excellent... oh... and don't miss Red Dead Redemption. That is one of my all-time favorites. :-) See you on the next Alaboom! lol

for like 50 bucks! Wasn’t even l0oking for one, just couldn’t pass it up, came with some cool looking games. trying to get my head around like 20 years of playstation technology… in a lockdown here, so no better time than now suppose

A great digital only Hack and Slash game is DUNGEON HUNTER ALLIANCE. it's a very polished diablo clone and each character has a very different feel to it. I had an awesome time with it in couch co-op with up to 4 people. We 100% it.

If you like Star Wars, you can only get the Episode III PS2 game on PS3. Totally worth it because of the extra modes and it's just a fun game overall.

Try game named RAIN, ps3 exclusive like journey. Very rare and overpriced, physical release only in Japan

JP release is not too pricey, but it's also in Japanese, naturally. The only other region that got a physical release was Hong Kong/Taiwan, which actually does contain English and Chinese language options. This version is the only way to get an English language copy of the game in physical form, so of course it's stupid expensive. Grab the PSN version while you can.

I got Festival of Blood back when it first came out! It's a pretty cool game for sure. I've been going through the games I want to make sure I get before the shutdown, already bought a handful of them ( Suikoden 1 & 2, Tomba 1 & 2, Mega Man Legends 1 & 2, Parasite Eve 1 & 2, Ratchet Deadlocked, Star Wars: Dark Forces, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy VI and Threads of Fate )....planning to check PSP & Vita games ( definitely at least making sure I grab Tales Of Hearts R as physical copies are skyrocketing in price ) but unfortunately my Vita is busted and I haven't found a replacement cheap enough for me to afford :/ also with Ratchet & Clank, Quest For Booty is also PSN exclusive so definitely grab it if you like the series and don't have it already!

Hard Corps Uprising is also available on the Xbox 360, which we've heard no news of the stores closing *yet*. AND it's backwards compatible for Xbox One and Series X/S. So if you have an Xbox, might be good to get on there instead. Just my two cents. 😁

It’s been said that inside the PlayStation 3 there is a battery or some Kind of device I’m not quite sure. What I mean is whatever’s inside the PlayStation 3 no matter what version of the PlayStation 3 you have if it dies all your save data that was download it will be forever lost. Can you clarify this if it’s true or not?

Yeah its CMOS battery in it that could go out some day and can cause issues like that. Type in PS3 CMOS Battery and a video from about a week ago should come up.

I will wait to play some of the HD Remasters on PS4 when I get one in a year or two. So the PS3 will just be my old school rpg player for the most part. I have a lot of collecting to do before July so I'm going to be spending a lot! These games listed are simply too expensive to collect in physical copy.

You guys to point out. DO NOT BUY RATCHET DEADLOCKED Solo. First buy Ratchet Full Frontal assauly because IT COMES WITH DEADLOCKED ALREADY its two for one. Same thing for ratchet and clank into the nexus. if you buy it, itll come with Ratchet Quest for booty. Do not buy a ratchet and clank a quest for booty standalone.

@@Jos3-_m I searched the model number (CECHA01), it was from a high-rated seller, and it had a lot of pictures of the actual device. He only had the one or I'd link you what I got. It's been working great. I did an ethernet cable transfer of my old PS3's stuff to this one and there were no issues. I just set it by a fan whenever I play, since I've had two PS3s yellow light of melting death on me.

Explain? How will it be useless you'll still be able to re download the games once you buy it. Yeah it won't get updated but you'll still have access to the game itself.
