You'll be able to buy and download these games past the month of July 2021. :) Thanks for watching!! Can't wait to see your lists. Yeah man the CMOS battery issue is very concerning it makes me seriously nervous. I hope enough noise is made by us in the community that Sony if they hopefully still care about preservation that being their hardware take notice how unhappy the customers are, that they patch out, that the console has to have a timer check with Sony's servers for trophies and not unblock access to all those games we bought. I believe the PS 4 scenario is even worst...when that happens and there are no more servers not only digital games are unplayable but even physical....thats a ticking time bomb. I really hope Sony addresses this and provides a fix to this flaw. Cause I'll think twice before investing in another PlayStation console to be honest...go full PC but that is still sad

Fantastic job Juan!!! Loved this video and I agree the DLC is extremely important sometimes now since some games are released incomplete and you need DLC for the full experience.

Great video! I came for Super Rub a Dub but ended up watching more than just that. I fully agree with you about it. I sit down to have some chill time playing it before doing something more productive and end up playing for ages! Something about it which makes you want to keep playing over and over. Sad about the internal battery issue and I hope easy work arounds are found which, I think will be found. I'm staying hopeful.

@@PlayerJuan yeah man absolutely there’s so many games and so much DLC to catch up on, the one DLC that I’m so upset I missed out on was fight night champion which was the best boxing game to date. I’m going to be buying a couple games that you mentioned in these videos one is the blob one lol and the other one is that racing game that almost looks like a twisted metal type game

You know what games I am planning on buying? ABSOLUTELY NONE. Screw Sony and their anti-consumer policies. They lost a long time fan ever since the release of the PS4. I have been on Xbox one since then and never looked back. I can put my old discs in my newer console and play them for free. PS3 is the last Sony console I will own unless they change their backwards stance on older games.

I bought a few Exclusive games PS1, PS2 and PS3 titles that might be really hard to find physically and/or just too expensive. I also bought some digital titles to match some of my sealed games in my collection. Great informative video too. Actually helped me cuz I don't own Ratchet & Clank Quest for Booty but did own Into the Nexus but code was used so I bought Into the Nexus digital for $9.99 that included Quest for Booty which was $14.99 if I wanted just that, so u saved me $5 and I got an extra game.

If you have not played Ratchet and Clank series, You would end up playing one, two, three and then all the games, Its really amazing

Good video in a tough time for PS3 enthusiasts, it so frustrating about the battery very anti consumer. I picked up the Ratchet and Clank collection for 12 UK pounds very lucky find a few months ago

Ratchet Deadlocked was delayed at the time so it was made a little later than the HD Collection, hopefully this helps with why it was on its own hahaha

Godhand is an absolute blast! It takes some time getting used to but there are a few combo combinations that make you op. Also if you enjoy the Godhand type of humor check out BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles on the PS3 store!

I've watched quite a few videos touching on this very subject of games to buy before the shut down, but have yet to see someone mention a particular game that is exclusive to the PSN store- and that game is Elevator Action Deluxe. This is a great single player and local co-op/multiplayer game, supporting up to 4 players at once. There is also some free DLC that adds some new characters, and also allows players to play the original 1983 Taito arcade game Elevator Action. This is one game to definitely pick up before July 2nd- do not miss out!

Hi Juan, I like your channel. I have watched your vids discussing PSN closing down and found them to be helpful. I thought you and everyone might like to know that Sega Rally Online Arcade in available to buy from the Hong Kong store for about USD$16 (70HKD). I mention it because the game does not seem to be available on the US, UK, or Aus stores. It's a cool arcade racer that wasn't published for long (2011-2012). It is based on the 2007 Sega Rally Revo which had a physical release. A highlight of the game is its terrain/track deformation. I hope this helps. Regards, Michael. :)

Juan, my concern is after buying all these digital games because of the impending shutdown of the digital store, it still does not help any of us when our PS3 CMOS battery dies. All that $$ wasted.

Hello Juan this is Juan, I've always been for physical games, but with this happening, I've added a few digital only games to my collection, one game that is DLC that I'm interested in getting is dead space 3 awakened, maybe check it out, thanks for the video.

I picked up loads of DLC for PS3 and Vita including Folklore, Hatsuni Miku, Persona Dancing Games etc. If the CMOS thing ever happens and Sony don't have a workaround, the only solution is a jailbreak. But right now am happy to have supported the DEVS of these games.

For horror buffs who want to play silent hill 4 and Haunting ground and don't want to spend $600 for physicals. Make a japanese account and buy it on japanese psn. Sticking with horror I recommended Echo night Fatal frame 1-3 Siren Blood curse Parasite eve 1&2 JRPG horror. Lastly Echo Night. Fromsofts first RPG. You can see the souls dna in the making.

Another good game is Resident Evil Revelations 2 on Vita. It never had a English physical release, but the Japanese physical is extremely expensive.

Serious question, can that internal battery not be replaced? Will you get your digital games back if so? I'm not very tech so I really don't know.

the internal battery can be replaced if it dies. The problem is if the battery dies when Sony shuts down the PSN servers, you will lose access to your digital library forever.

Oh I hadn't read about that. Gonna have to look it up. As Ioannis mentioned, maybe it's the result of some servers shutting down? If so that's even worse (IMO) and the actual store shutting down!

There are to great DLCs for Metal gear rising The DLCs for Batman arkham Origins might be something you wanna grab, because we don't have a Goty version of this game. The same goes for Dead Space 2 and 3. Dragon age 1 has a few DLCs too, just like Fallout 3. If you have a fight game that you like, remember to get the DLC characters, for example Playstation All stars, it has 4 characters, one of them is Zeus from God of war

Tbqh, Europe never got the Mega Man Legends games. Capcom really hates that series so much that they refuse to re-release these games. They really need to re-release these for modern systems.

I have heard by people that the first 3 games that have been remastered have issues so I just play them on my fully backwards compatible PS3.

Unfortunately for me my fully backwards compatible ps3 is dying on me so I only option is to buy whatever ps2 games I want to play digitally or buy an expensive copy of the original ps2 version and play it on a ps2.

DLC must haves are for castlevania lords of shadow 1&2 and asura’s wrath . They extend the story to its true endings .

In the case of Castlevania the Xbox 360 version is backwards compatible on Xbox One so that's also an option.

So wait if you get the game and your ps3 dies and you lose it, you can't download it again from your account onto another ps3 once the store is closed, or will it be stored in your account library ?

So after a lot of digging, it seems like the European version of Full frontal assault (Q-Force) doesn't come with Deadlock (Gladiator)
