NCS Modz , Did these bent APU come straight like a razor from the factory and bent overtime due to heat OR they came bent like that directly from the factories ?!

Every single one I opened for cleaning or changing pads has it and I also think that Sony know about it and that's why the factory thermal paste placing looks like they put it using shovel.

@@NSC-Modz if water cooled, would you recommend installing some fans in the rear to pull the psu and other heat out? Or with the water cooling do you think the heat from other components wouldn't be a problem?
Yeah, that's why i always say, this is the most important thing which should be tested. Mostly it was on the Pro only, the other PS4s was ok, not the best, but better than the Pro. So i think on the Slim it's not that bad like on the Pro. I think i have tested already somewhere, need to search the video myself ✌️
My friend what do you think about ps5 ssd cover?..cover On or cover off...Sony says negative pressure .....😳, but people report less ssd temperature ....¿?
It conforms which cover. A bad one could make to much pressure, so this should be tested right. And i really don't care much what Sony say, mostly they say and do a lot stupid things, just like on this Heatsink. Always trust yourself more than a company like Sony...

Hi nsc I have a ps4 fat 11xx model and an expert changed it's thermal paste for me beside i was there watching entire process and he've done it correct and good beside the thermal paste he used was a good one but still when I'm closing the game the fan speed doesn't decrease at the same time and I should wait for example eight minutes until it will be silent my console is jailbreak and I didn't update it's firmware from 2018 and when I've checking the temperature it's all good and cosole isn't overheating during gaming , but I eonder what is the problem?
Yes, i know this issue, this is really because the vram chips. For a test, open the case and hold a 120mm fan over the heatshield and play a game, the Fan should calm down faster :)
@@NSC-Modz ich weiß nicht ob du Deutsch kannst? Hatte das selbe Problem dass nach dem Leistpasten und Pads tausch immer noch sehr laut und warm wurde. Denke es liegt auch am APU weil die krum ist
Bin Portugiese und komm aus den Raum Stuttgart ^^ Es kommt auf dein Modell an, trotzdem würde ich prüfen wie die APU und der Kühler ist. Meist aber werden die laut, weil die vram chips sehr heiß werden, die müssen extra gekühlt werden damit man wirklich Ruhe hat. Außer bei der letzten PS4 Pro, die 72xx läuft leiser weil die vram chips nicht mehr so heiß werden, die haben das bei der behoben. Die 70xx und 71xx werden aber extrem heiß, daher müssen die extra gekühlt werden. Such mal PS4 Pro Ultra Quiet NSC
@@NSC-Modz hab das Model 7116B die vrams sowie hdmi chip sind mit 1mm pads von Arctic tp-3 bedeckt. Kühlpaste ist eine mx6 von arctic für die APU. Ich muss noch oben üben den Lüfter eine Öffnung machen wie du es hast mit Gitter und die APU testen ob die gerade ist. Sunset fällt mir nichts mehr ein
71xx leidet auch drunter. Die pads alleine reichen da echt nicht aus. Die läuft dann minimal leiser aber nach ca. 20min. Spielzeit wird die wieder lauter und kommt dann auch nicht mehr runter von alleine. Für normale Spiele keine ausreichend, wenn du aber dann was krasseres spielst wie zbs. GoW 4 / Horizon-Forbidden West, oder DAYS GONE, dann wird die wieder abheben... DAYS GONE ist ein richtig hartes game um zu testen, dass Spiel bringt deine Konsole aufs Limit, mehr wie alles andere. Und wenn eine PS4 Pro mit Days Gone nach 30min. Spielzeit immer noch leise läuft dann ist die Konsole in einem top Zustand.
