The 43x isn’t that much more expensive. If you’re sacrificing reliability to save a few bucks then you probably can’t even afford ammunition. Wait 2 weeks and buy a Glock. Or save up even more and buy the new CR920x from SS. I have the 43x and don’t carry it unless I have to due to clothing. My MR920 is my preferred carry.

One thing I have found with PSA guns. They are awesome and a great value But, buyones that have been in production for a few years. They do a great job bringing stuff out but they refine after issues appear. Small company growing pains is all. I've got 2 new purchases of guns brought out a few years ago and the only issue I see is a GRIT that causes friction related issues. Spray clean with cleaner lube usually clears things up.

Any budget firearm benefits greatly from polishing, cleaning, and lubricant. My Hellcat shot really terrible when new with a 7 1/2 pound trigger. After just polishing and de-burring all the internals and setting the trigger pins flush it now shoots really good with a 4 1/2 pound trigger. Very crisp and consistent. The same was true with my Rossi R92 357 magnum. It’s now even smoother than my son’s Henry lever action.

I love mine. It’s one of my favorite carry guns now. Mine also hit a little left when I got it, not low just left, though the rear sight was centered. I’m right handed but left eye dominant and tend to shoot left with Glocks too. It is not trigger control. But I drifted the sight over and now it shoots great. Mine is an absolute tack driver. Shoots great at 25. I’ve mostly shot it at 15 and can stack them. I’ve not had any malfunctions. Even though I’ve shot mixed mags with 115, 124, 135, 147 grain, standard, +P, FMJ, Critical Duty, HST’s, no issues. The slide has failed to lock open a few times. I have 4 of the PSA mags for it. But I think I’m just hitting the slide stop.

The hitting low left thing, seems to be a thing with the Micro Dagger. I got the package deal. The PSA Micro Dagger that included the Holosun 407K. However the 407K didn't work when I got it. It would randomly shut off on me while I was using it. So I sent the optic back to PSA and shot the pistol with the iron sights. My gun was hitting about 4" low and about 2" to the left at less than 10 yards. I had a friend shoot it, and he had the same problem. I decided not to wait for the optic to come back. I ordered the optic I actually wanted, the EPS Carry. I put it on, and sighted it in. Sure enough, after getting it sighted in, if you line up the iron sights, the dot is almost not visible in the bottom left of the window. I honestly don't know how they made it that far off. I actually have come to really like the gun. It's been reliable, other than it doesn't lock back reliably when I'm on the clock. Which might be my grip. The only real complaint I have is I don't like the accessory rail. They could have made it a regular pic rail without making the gun any wider than it already is. Then a lot more lights would have fit it. As it is only about two lights fit the rail. I ended up "Canadian Engineering" a way to put my Olight Valkyrie on it.

@@kevinroberts781 sure if you take a punch and a hammer to the rear sight, but the windage isn't the real problem it's the elevation. It's hitting 4" low to point of aim. The only way to try to fix it is to get a different set of irons but that's not a guarantee. Unless... maybe I could get a suppressor hight rear sight and leave the front alone...hmmm 🤔... yeah, no. I think I'll just use the optic.

They really bitched the rollout of the micro. It was catch the drop only for close to 6 months, with some drops being as few as 10 frames. I bought mine right after they came to full prodo, and while I have pretty good accuracy I've definitely had my share of issues that I've had to work out and act as amateur gunsmith because of PSA products. I DONT use my compact as it's got terrible muzzle wiggle while pulling the trigger and it will 100% of the time cause me to hit off target in arbitrary directions. My micro has had 2 dead triggers, and refuses to feed most jhp ammo, I'm basically locked into frangible ammo or things like critical duty or ball ammo which is a no-go.

This was very similar to my own experience. I just picked up a Dagger Micro C-1 (Glock 48 size with comp'd slide). I had the EXACT same accuracy issues. I put 200 rounds of Speer Lawman 147gr FMJ thru it my first trip to the range straight outta the box, no cleaning out lube. Very first round I tried to chamber failed to feed. Had to remove the mag to extract it manually. I set the extracted round off to the side & reinserted the mag. Very next round also FTF. This time I was able to bump the slide into battery and fully chamber the round. Fired it off but it failed to eject the brass. Removed the stove pipe & fired off the remaining rounds without a hitch. Went on to put 200 rounds thru it. Not another single hiccup of any sort. I also brought along my Glock 48 for side by side comparison, and I can tell you 2 things I learned. I'm SIGNIFICANTLY more accurate with the Glock at every distance. And I cannot tell any difference whatsoever in felt recoil or speed of getting back on target between having the comp'd slide off the PSA versus the regular slide of the Glock. I think the fact that the PSA has a shorter barrel like a 43X to allow for the comp'd slide in combination with the crappy sights made it less accurate. I'm gonna switch out the sights on the PSA to the same set I run on the Glock and see if I fair any better. As for the 43X/48 mags, I also had issues with these. So stick with the PSA mags.

Well, at least you didn't recommend it, so my checking account is safe for the moment. It looked like the slide/recoil was 'gentle' in the thing watching both of you fire it. I like the original Dagger quite a bit. Hopefully they get this one properly sorted for those who'd love such a thing for carry. Power to the People.
