Kongo calls Phos’ tears a “defect” so it’s safe to say he doesn’t nurture or educate the gems in emotion. Also I believe Phos’ greatest strength is their empathy, which I think is why their inclusions are able to adapt to anything. They feel empathy, and are able to relate emotionally to the world around them where the other gems feel like somewhat drones

My family is actually pretty similar to gem society and I'm trying to break out of this Phos mindset of trying to be useful 💀. Honestly a struggle when growing up people are judged entirely on utility, and clinging on to the role is everything.
