Originally intended as a small scale "yuppie generational angst / rage against the machine" satire, FIGHT CLUB - with the additions of dir. David Fincher (hot off his biggest success, SE7EN), Brad Pitt, and Edward Norton, would grow into the most iconoclastic / disturbingly provocative major studio release since the 70s heyday of TAXI DRIVER, SHAMPOO and NETWORK. Cast and crew, along with former Fox 2000 studio heads Bill Mechanic and Laura Ziskin, look back on (what is now - though not at the time!!!) one of the seminal films of the turning of the new century.
