I really appreciate his last comment on the teacher coming home upset. But truth be told, it isn't the students that send teachers home crying... its the parents.

The nice thing about this video is how Gene Hackman seemed genuinely happy and relaxed when he was with Dustin Hoffman, both on the set and off it. You can see the comfort he felt in working/being interviewed with an old friend vs. being on his own. I've read a lot of interviews with him where he talked about being intrinsically shy (which a lot of actors are) and even the director here said he was a quiet kind of guy, so that tracks.

So sick of the scene in every movie with a black person it it where the evil white boss / cop / politician / Etc. oppresses the poor black man. This is a stereotype. And it is every bit as bad as the stereotype of the black man as a watermelon eating criminal. But it’s OK because it’s just white people.

In “ the Dambusters “ movie, they changed the dogs name to “ Trigger”, to satisfy the woke nonsense of the day. The real dogs name was “ Nig**r” Blazing saddles doesn’t give a toss about the woke clowns. Thankfully.

This is a sad comedy skit to me, as a person of color. For me it’s a dismissal of my personal trauma related to racism I experienced. Laugh at that.

I actually know an uninhibited loudmouth racist. He was a high school wrestler,he spent the entire time before the match entertaining the (white) referees with his theories. The referee let his opponent carry him around the mat above his head by his $crotum. We brought him to the section tournament in the place of our guy.

Been a huge fan of his pretty much my whole life. Thought I would see his movie star looks again, then I saw Micheal Dorn from Star Trek. They could be brothers, except for the obvious difference. Just something I noticed. What do you all think?

Somewhat interesting video. Notable is that we see D. Hoffman not behaving like a jerk. I guess being around Gino brings him back to humanity. D.H.'s greatest role is still _Midnight Cowboy_ - again, for the humanity.

Gale Anne Hurd did not steal my MAGMA TOWN script in 1995., - with evidence I have a reasonable doubt : - that "writer" Leslie Bohem did it brazenly and recklessly (I can only imagine how many other screenwriters he stole), but Gale Anne Hurd and her company at the time, PACIFIC WESTERN made about $25 million through the production of the movie DANTE S PEAK over my back and I got nothing.Even contacted me twice with an email from David Nochimson (Gale Anne Hurd s attorney from L.A.), who tried to "brainwash" me with a "statement" that Gale Anne Hurd didn't earn anything from that film, where I denied it with evidence, then he shut up realizing that his "hell" plan had failed and that I "read" it, - they both clearly underestimated me, - DISASTER AND GREAT SHAME FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE, - I AM HORRIFIED !

Ah sh!t. I remember this science teacher from high school. White as heck. California surfer dude. The school was in between the Little Saigon part of town and the Mexican Barrio. So it's half Vietnamese kids and half Mexicans, with some Blacks, Whites, Koreans, and one Pakistani girl. Guy thought he was gonna be that teacher from the movies, inspiring kids to get into science and sh!t. And the school was all about it. This was the Obama era. There was incentive to be that teacher. There's just one problem... he sucks at being a teacher. Like, I was good at math and other subjects. I just can't learn from this guy. I wasn't the only one. His classes were at C average. And he was aware. I think one class was him just having a breakdown asking, "What am I doing wrong?" Like, most of us didn't know, and those that did hadn't the heart to tell him. And to save face, he started a Robotics Club to show he did care about our education and such. It ended up just being a bunch of anime nerds who hung out in his classroom after school. Specifically these were the anime nerds that didn’t fit in with the Japanese Pop Culture Club. (The school didn’t let us have an Anime Club, so instead we got the JPCC, which was a watered-down version.) So his legacy amounted to harboring a bunch of weebs in his classroom, messing with robot parts and watching Kill La Kill on a kid's laptop.
