I love pumpkin French toast. I don't follow WW but love your recipes. Instead of almond milk I use sugar free pumpkin creamer. It's so good!! I also sprinkle my corn in cob with lemon pepper spice. It's to die for. Thanks for your great ideas. Love them.

Kristi. I just made your overnight oats with the cinnamon apples on top. My husband loved it! Also took your tip on getting 2 cup Pyrex bowls. Perfect for storage. Can't wait to try more of your recipes!!

I think you are great! I started WW at the beginning of January and I’m not doing that good cuz I don’t plan ahead.. I love your videos! I’m a foodie and binge watch food network and just started these you tube channels.. I think Jennifer Lynn recommended you .. Great ideas, now I have to apply them.

I put my corn on the cob in boiling water for 3 min!! I like it crunchy!! I'm gonna try these. Tonight is the salmon from Aldi's!!

So I just made the French toast. But I'm lazy!! So I cut the bread in 1/2 (8 slices) and cut it up, but added the rest, poured it over and I'm baking it. Maybe like a pumpkin french toast bread pudding 😋. I'm cutting it in 4 (my husband doesn't take breakfast to work). It comes out to 2 pts!!! I'm subbing tmw so I'll have a great breakfast. Lunch is minestrone soup zero points!! Still trying to lose Florida weight!!

White bread toasts differently because it usually has sugar in it, which caramelizes when you cook it. You could add just 1 tsp of sugar to your mix and it will toast better without adding points :) Looks delicious, as always!

@@PlanningUsHealthy oh ok NY... I went a few times in 2019 2020 before the shut down. My husband had a box truck business and I started mine in 2020 the end and it's going great but we are local now not over the road. I loved seeing new places but im happier to be home daily n in my own bed lol. So you know about the snow all to well too lol. I'm from Ohio so just down the turnpike from NY. I love Fla. My best friend lives in Miami and I went to school there in fla city by homestead cuz every winter my parents would go to fla and come home in the summer. We moved to Ga in 2006 but I wanted to move to fla.

Kristi, FYI the Pioneer Woman uses the same technique of gathering all of the ingredients together & cooking on the day she is serving her recipe. She calls them "Meal Kits". And for goodness sake, you ARE prepping your meals!!! With all of the time, effort, etc I would call it prepping. You're just prepping in a different way. I use this technique during the holidays. It's such a great time saver to have all of my ingredients together & measured out. It really helps during such a busy time. You've got great recipes & I can see you really enjoy cooking. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos & making your recipe!!

Yes, that's what I call mine is meal kits! I didn't realize the Pioneer Woman does that! I will have to watch her sometime. I actually used to order the meal delivery kits but then just decided to start doing my own. And yes, I definitely consider myself a meal prepper LOL Even back before WW, I used to prep meals for the week - they just weren't WW friendly! :) I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! :)

I appreciate the last couple videos where you've mentioned not having to do your whole meal prep and just taking parts of it. It helped ease my perfectionist tendencies. Haha. Although I love seeing all of it! Thanks so much for your dedication in sharing all this with us! 💖

That's exactly what it's like! I actually used to use a lot of the meal delivery services but then I decided I could make my own for cheaper and be able to use lower-point options in mine! And you could also go one step further for your husband and put the directions in like a snack bag inside the big bag if you wanted. You could always reuse those too! :)

What do you use to wash your wooden cutting board?

I use soap and water and a scrub brush, but if I chop meat on it, then I soak it in one part vinegar to 4 parts water for about 5 minutes. I there are spots, you can pour a little salt on it and scrub it with half a lemon as well. :)

Hi there. I thought I responded to your question the other day, but now it's popping up as unanswered. Maybe there was another one you commented on. LOL Anyway, I get most of my containers from Amazon (they are linked in the description box of most of my newer meal prep videos). For the black single containers, those were purchased at Dollar General. :)

am i the only one who noticed the loosely wrapped fish thawing with cucumbers you are going to eat raw? that leads to food poisoning. Other wise your food ideas always look so good and i have so many picked out to try.

Thanks so much! I actually don't eat the skins on my cucumbers. Those get washed and peeled. I probably should have mentioned that. However, with that being said, I haven't done the fish that way since this video. Since I now have salmon on Mondays, the frozen fish is on Fridays so it stays in the freezer. Can I just say a HUGE thank you to you though?? I am in no way a pro or a chef or anything, so I really do appreciate constructive criticism. I really appreciate the way you commented by sharing your concern and not being rude about it. Those naysayers out there really should learn from you! :)

Hi when you cooked the chicken did you flip them to cook the other side and did you cook the rice before you pre-packaged your lunch. I know these are silly questions but I like to be sure. Thanks

Hi Irene! No, there are never any stupid questions at all!! Sometimes I forget to say things in my videos so definitely ask away! :) But yes, for this chicken, I flipped it over halfway through. Also, for the rice, since this is just the 90-second Ready rice, I didn't cook this one since it will cook when I heat it. However, if I used regular rice, then yes, I would cook it first. Hope that helps! :) And again, ask anything you need to! It may help me to remember to say things in my videos.

Yes, it is!! You know, I sometimes wonder if I would do it if I didn't work so many hours a week. I think I'd probably still prep lunches, but I don't think I'd prep breakfast and dinners. I'm not sure though!

I'm not too sure what it is. I'm thinking it's a dry wine. I just get it at Publix. I think it's Taylor brand. I used the rest of it Sunday and threw the bottle away or I would look at the bottle for you.

Planning Us Healthy We live in NC but usually go to The Villages in September but my husband was diagnosed with throat cancer last March so we are hoping to get back to Florida at Christmas. He is cancer free but still having problems eating so we have lots of doctor appointments. I love the Villages
