Note about the Sloppy Joe Casserole prep!! I wasn't even thinking when I put my cucumbers and dressing in the container. I needed to heat the sloppy joe up!🤦‍♀️ LOL So, next time, I'll just put the cucumbers in a baggie so that way it'll be easier to remove them to heat the sloppy joes! :)

Kristi, Our Dollar General has those Individual Reynolds Aluminum Foil Wraps. They are wonderful to use for wrapping Individual portions of food. Also the Dollar General has parchment paper too. Both great bargain priced. I lay the foil and parchment on my scale then zero out. Then add all ingredients on the foil and paper then wrap. I love your Breakfast Sandwich Idea. Yum 😋 ♥️👍. @@PlanningUsHealthy Kristi you do a Beautiful Presentation on your Meal Planning Videos. Just wanted to possibly save you some on your Food Prep budget. Could even reuse the foil wraps if they didn't touch food directly. I purchased these really neat Silicone Containers with Silicone Tops with Vent System. I have used them over and over again to freeze individual portion size food in. I just place freezer paper between food to keep in from freezing. When I need a portion I just pop it out of container. Saves me not having to purchase freezer bags. Can reuse the containers over and over. Purchased through ShopQ. They were on sale. I'm sure could also locate on Amazon too.

Great casserole, three of us in this house are all on WW. We all eat pretty much differently. So lunch is our big meal. Then for dinner we usually cook for ourselves. We all eat breakfast at different times at breakfast so we keep a lot of breakfast foods. It works here for us this way, my husband and son are very self sufficient and help out a lot. I get a lot of ideas from your channel. Ty

That is really great that you all make it work for you!! You are right though. To be honest, any times that we don't have something planned for dinner, we both just kind of do our own thing. I fend for me, he fends for him. So, it's not like I would have to cook my meal AND cook his. He would just do his himself. I think where it would be hard is for families who don't have husbands who are as self-sufficient when it comes to cooking and cleaning and things like that. For us, the weekends are usually the opposite - my husband grills and I don't do any cooking! LOL I'm so glad you are liking my channel! :)

I made the sloppy joe casserole for dinner and OH MY WORD! It interested me because I do like Manwich, but not the points that come with the bun. Being on purple, this sounded like a good option. This is insanely good. I’ll definitely be making this one again and again.

I wonder if you could get a replacement box for your plastic wrap? I’ve never seen that large a roll. I have a pioneer woman plastic wrap dispenser with a cutter on it and it is so handy. You are a master burrito roller! The sloppy joes look delicious and of course the salmon is a favorite of ours. I’m not crazy about any meat loaf but sometimes I make one as my hubby loves it. I actually just got off the phone with my mom because she got me that box. My stepdad is coming in a couple weeks so hopefully he will bring me a new box. I think they may jave them at Sams too! And the casserole is sooo good!!! 😀

I do! I did that one for a collab video one time. I actually love it with ground turkey, but I know people who don't care for that turkey flavor so they don't care for it. Hi Vickie! I just keep them in the fridge since I'm only prepping for 3 days (I usually prep Monday through Wednesday for hubby and I), so I haven't noticed much of a difference in the taste from day one to three. But then again, I like food and I'm not real picky about much, so it's hard to displease me when it comes to food! LOL With that being said, I know some people who freeze them and pull them out the night before they eat them. Thanks so much for your kind words! :)

I'm very glad I found you on RU-vid, but I wonder why you use so much processed cheese? I can't do that, so what else can you recommend to replace Velveeta?

Hi Sheila! I'm glad you found me too. And yes,, unfortunatelyVelveeta is one of my favorites that I haven't rid myself of yet. I try to eat about 80% whole foods, but then I use Velveeta a lot. It's just a personal choice at this point as I slowly transition my ways of eating. Compared to the days of fast food, I'm getting much better! I always suggest that people just use my videos as a guide and make sure to do what works for you. Actually, you don't even need to use cheese in these. Or maybe you could just use a little bit of some hard cheese. (Just make sure to add points/calories). 😊

I thought they would be zero but when I scan them they scan at 2 points for 3/4 of a cup. It may be because there's 2 grams of sugar in it. Hmmm....might be best to make my own and freeze!

What do you do about the cucumber salad, do you warm the sloppy joe casserole AND the cucumbers? I think I might have to put them in a baggie so I can remove them before heating. Don't think I would like hot cucumber salad, but I DO think I would like your Sloppy Joe casserole! : )

Is the Velveeta fat free or reduced fat? I like cheddar but choose to not have it because of its point value. I tried the Fat Free version and it was kind of plastic like. Is the Velveeta good?

I know what you mean. I don't like fat-free cheese at all. The Velveeta is not really fat-free or reduced fat. It just says Velveeta slices. However, it's more like cheese spread - very processed unfortunately. Have you ever had regular Velveeta cheese, like in the big box? It's like that, but made into slices. It's more of like a creamy cheese, you could say.

@@PlanningUsHealthy Yes I actually really like Velveeta. I was surprised to hear it was 1 point for a slice. Or was that not for Green? Green is very high maintenance and so much logging but it was what they picked for me but I am getting burnt out on logging every tiny little thing.

@@nkailihiwa Yes, cheese is the same for all programs, so it would be 1 point for you also. But listen, if you're getting tired of green, you can switch to something else and try it. That's just what they suggested for you, but it doesn't mean you're stuck with it. If you are good with portion control and know what a true portion is, you may like blue. That's what I'm on. I don't have to track my chicken breast, turkey breast, fruits, vegetables, eggs, etc. But I do need to keep in mind what a normal portion is and I try to keep my portions at that. They say to try something for at least two weeks before switching. My feeling is that if you're getting tired of it, you're more apt to not stick with it, so maybe trying blue might work for you. Again, as I always say, I'm not a WW coach or leader - I'm only speaking from my own personal experiences.

@@nkailihiwa Ohhh, yeah, then green may be for you. LOL Blue is the in between one, but fruits, veggies, eggs, beans, lean meats are all zero, so it's possible to overeat on those easily.

@@PlanningUsHealthy it's difficult isn't it 😪 I'm from the Uk, I've started shopping at local farmers markets to reduce the amount of plastic I'm using - the veggies are sooo tasty. I make breakfast kilner jars, filled with berries, yogurt, oats and cinnamon (nom noms) 👍 over night oats delicious.

For breakfast and lunch, yes, but that's just by choice because usually the things are so good we want them again. LOL But you definitely can change things up and make some things different for each day. For dinners, that's different each night.
