Food looks great love ur channel chrissy ur doing great and love how u portion ur food keep up all the great work hello to u and ur family God bless u all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All recipes look amazing. The taco pasta looks easy and delicious, but NO on breaking the spaghetti. My mom used to break it. It is so easy to twirl it on your fork when it is longer. That's just me. LOL
Thanks so much, Nancy!! It's so strange how you learn things like breaking pasta!! LOL I agree - twirling on the fork is so easy - that's what we do at restaurants actually.
Made taco bake. Hubby and I are gonna have for dinner with a side of squash and use leftovers for lunches. I tasted it-- so good! Made With Ground turkey. Just used spray, no oil. For cheese, I have light mozzarella. Just using what I have!
I tried the chocolate chip pancake bake a few days ago and really like it. My husband doesn't need to lose weight so I halved the recipe and made it in a 9x9 pan and divided it in 4 for a 3 point breakfast item. I will try some of the other pancake bakes since this was easy and very good.
Just started weight watchers and I just found your channel. I made the taco pasta and it was sooo good. I took some Greek yogurt and add hot sauce to it and mixed it with my serving. So delicious!!
Not sure if it was already mentioned, but Amanda Lewis (here on RU-vid - I don't know how to tag) mixes spaghetti squash with her spaqhetti noodles to bulk/veggify it up. I haven't tried it yet. I like to be cheap on points so I don't mind spaghetti squash by itself, but it would be good for kids/husbands possibly... Found your channel recently...love your videos!
That's right! I always forget about spaghetti squash! That would definitely bulk it up. I'm like you - I've heard of it but haven't tried it yet. :) So glad you're enjoying my videos! :)
I really enjoy your channel!! I do not like long pasta!! I will eat it but prefer the short pastas. I only buy the rotini, macaroni or any other short noodle! My kids even complain if we go somewhere and have long pasta! LOL
I made this today, but I used chicken broth instead of water, and omitted the cheese and just added the Parmesan cheese that you shake! It was awesome!
Awwww... I LOVE this!! Comments like this make me feel like I'm really doing what I was meant to do!! Thank you so much, Melissa!! I hope your days get better!! 💕💕
I just found your channel a couple days ago and I am obsessed! I love all the videos I have watched so far. You make everything so easy to understand and easy to follow too. I just joined WW at the beginning of this year and I have been having a difficult time finding recipes that my family can and is also willing to try. By far, ones you have done are the only one I have found that they like! I love the meal prepping. I need to get back into that!
Thank you so much, Rena!! I'm so happy you're enjoying my videos! My goal is to provide as much information as possible, but still leaving it where people can use my ideas and make things their own - swap things out, etc. I always hated hearing people say they would eat something different than the rest of the family. So, I've made it a goal to make these all family friendly, regardless of anyone's dietary likes/needs. Welcome to the PUH family!! :)
Just to clarify, the taco pasta is 6 points on blue, not 5. I said 6 but it was typed out as 5 on the video. It's correct in the recipe section of the description box. :) PROCESSED CHEESE ALERT! Velveeta cheese is one of the things I've not given up yet as I transition to my healthier way of eating! However, you could definitely replace the Velveeta with any type of natural cheese, or don't even use any cheese at all for the taco pasta!
LOL! Who in the world would stick a straw in there? :-) I add corn and bell peppers in my taco pasta. I make mine in the instant pot though. I think I'll try it on the stovetop next time. I usually buy the G Hughes sugar free honey mustard sauce (It's really good) but I'll try the hungry girl version! Great meal prep Kristi!
I've gotten some pointers, so I may have to take a little straw and try it next time! LOL Oh, yes, corn and bell peppers would be great!!! Thanks so much!!! :)
Omgosh I’m sooo glad I found your channel! You’re such a wealth of information and inspiration! I’ve lost the same ole 50 lbs twice now, time for round #3... Today I flipped thru low cal cookbooks and magazines, made a meal plan, ordered groceries from Aldi’s for curbside pickup, before finding you! I’m actually excited now about my new weight loss goal (I’m weird like that 😂)! Thank you 🙏 Subscribing for sure!
Hi Vicky!! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're excited. And I know exactly what you mean. I have pumped myself up about weight loss many times! LOL This is going to be a great year!! Welcome to the PUH family!! 💕
Hi Kristi, Hope you had a good day! Breaker, garlic bread yum, yum. Such yummy food. How do you find all these recipes? Fiber One sounds good. Going shopping, lol Take care, be safe!!
Hi Kristi, I joined WW less than a month ago and found your channel a few days later. I'm obsessed 😍 I have made every version of your pancake bakes and we love them! We love your cheesecake overnight oats 😋 and your hearty chili is 💣 Thank you thank you thank you. FYI we all love cilantro and of course we cut our spaghetti in half 😆
Thank you soooo much!!! 💕💕 I'm so glad that you're enjoying everything!! Yay! Cilantro lovers!! I just think it tastes so fresh and clean. My husband thinks the complete opposite!!! 🤣🤣
I've been watching you for months now. I've made the blueberry pancake bake. It was delicious. My mom loved it. I'm not on WW but I love you or videos and recipes.
I am a spaghetti breaker for sure. Thanks for the videos! I am a newbie subscriber and a empty nester, so I love to see what your meal prep is for the week. Keep them coming! :) Oh, I just bought some meal prep kits from Aldi to use.
Yes, pork chops from a tenderloin from Costco, that’s a great idea. I did that from watching you cut up that tenderloin, makes awesome pork chops. Great freezer meals, think I’ll steal from your recipes. ❤️🇨🇦🐶
Can you plz do 1 week of slow cooker recipes a month? Im a single mom who works full time & is home schooling my autistic son. Ive had big issues finding crockpot meals (necessary 5 days a week for us to eat) & I need some more recipes badly
I can definitely try! It's something I've always wanted to do once a month, but have struggled to fit them in. I think because I envisioned doing a whole bunch in one video. I'm considering doing them once a month in place of a meal prep video. :)
I’ve just found your channel tonight and I love it!! You make it seem so easy to stick to any of the WW plans. I’m really excited to plan out my next three days and prep those. Thank you for helping keep me interested in keeping on program. You are great! Please keep making these wonderful, easy how-to videos.
The pancake bake looks amazing! I am so excited to try it and so excited I found your channel!!! That pasta is so easy and looks delish!! I am both...a pasta breaker and a non pasta breaker. 🤣🤣
Thank you so much!! I love pancake bakes. But that pasta - oh, it was so good!! I got thinking about it and if I just make plain spaghetti and boil it in the pan, I usually just leave the spaghetti. Wonder why that is that I sometimes break it!!?? LOL
@@PlanningUsHealthyI just got home from a 12 hour night shift and was so inspired by your quick oats I made some and filmed it. I gave your channel credit. I made chocolate almond since I didn't have the butterscotch chips. I had to use regular almond milk because that's what I had. But I am super excited to try them when I get up!
the taco spaghetti looks great and yes I right there with I always break mine in half...LOL I've been looking for a good soup to make I have had the WW vegetable soup not to long ago but the beef vegetable sound just right done my alley. Thanks for another great meal prep.
Thanks so much, Carol. That taco spaghetti was AMAZING!!!! Today was the last of the three and I was soooo upset. I want more for the next couple days!! LOL I think I may make that for a Sunday dinner sometime. I loved it. Haven't had the soup yet - hoping that comes out good!
Thanks so much, Annette!! Those little bag stands are great! I have heard people say they just keep a big coffee tin and use that as a bag holder. Just stick the bag in there and fold the sides over it while they put everything in the bag. :)
Yum! That taco spaghetti and the hamburger soup sound delicious! I’m getting the stuff to make both of those! Thanks Kristi! Haha that cucumber- slippery little sucker!🤣
I'm a spaghetti breaker lol I just found your channel yesterday and subscribed.😊 My husband and I will be doing weight watchers with the original points. We've gained back some of our weight that we lost 3 years ago.
I have the same problem with fresh coriander(cilantro). I like the dried but fresh just tastes like soap to me - horrid! The hamburger soup recipe looks interesting - the equivalent of Savoury Mince here in the Uk.
I generally use Birch Benders Keto brand pancake/waffle mix. When I plugged in the recipe for the pancake bake it totaled 11 pts for one serving. Guess I need to buy the Kodiak brand.
I had a question about the hamburger vegetable soup: you do NOT cook the ground beef before putting it in the crockpot? I'm making it this weekend and just want to make sure. :)
That's correct. Believe me, that one had me a little worried as well because I've always cooked my ground beef prior to putting in recipes, but this one said put it in raw, so I did. It actually came out really good!! The hamburger was fully cooked but very tender.
Love this as I use my crackpot just as much as my InstantPot. What kind of vacuum sealer do you have? Can you also vacuum seal jars? We're planning to invest in one when we get our taxes back this year.
Thanks so much Debra! I have an OLD Gourmia sealer. They don't even sell them anymore. The last time I used mine, it seems like it's on its last legs, so I'm on the hunt for a new one myself!
OMG!! After I replied to your comment, I just went to check it out and WOW!! That looks delicious!! You can plan on that one on an upcoming meal prep video!! THANK YOU!!! 😋😋
I've had people say that. I've never had that issue. I don't know why. But I only had my potatoes in there for a couple days. I wonder if you blanched them first - like stick them on a tray and put them in the freezer and then add them to the bag. (?)
@@nkailihiwa I just looked back at some of my old freezer meals and it looks like I must have had that issue on occasion. I have some that say "add potato the day of". So, I'm wondering if it depends on how long it's in the bag maybe.
@@PlanningUsHealthy ha ha ha!!! My husband has the same issue as I do. It’s funny because it smells delicious! I have to be honest I’ve tried it on multiple occasions just to see. Nope reminds me of gold dial soap each and every time.
I could take or, preferably, leave cilantro....but I NEVER break my spaghetti. I’m Italian and I think I would be kicked out of the club for such an egregious sin! 😂
The ones from this video are just from Walmart. I've since moved to glass meal prep containers, which I love. If you watch any of my newer videos, I link the glass ones in the description box. :)
Yes, and they're great that way too! I actually have several pancake bakes. One of my favorites is my blueberry pancake bake, but I also do a strawberry one. Tons of ways you can do them. Soooo versatile! :)
Where can I get the pancake bake recipe please? Also can it be frozen, and can it be made in a cupcake tin (thinking is may have with portion control) xx
All the recipes are linked in the description box. 😊 I haven't ever froze this, but I do know people who have and they say it comes out just fine. And yes, you definitely can cook in cupcake tins.
Hi Sandra! I've never tried it using just flour and baking powder, so I'm not sure if the flavor would be the same since it's more of a pancake mix. From my calculations, it would increase the points by 2 per serving (but remember, we all have different personal points now).
Yes, I do. Not sure which recipe you're referring to, but I usually portion out my meats for dinner when I buy them. So, they're already weighed out at that point. :)
@@PlanningUsHealthy you won’t. This is what I do & always works like a charm. My son showed me how. Do it while you still have it standing up in the holder. Once all the air is sucked out, then you can flatten it out.😀
@@PlanningUsHealthy 👍🏻 just don’t suck too hard. It’s a straw in a little part of the bag left unzipped enough room for the straw, then pinch the bottom of straw once u get it airtight. Put straw barely in enough to get the air out...pinch bottom of straw & zip. Hope I’m making sense?😂
Hello ☺️ I like following your weight loss journey and love how hard and dedicated you are with losing weight. I think lots of people will get motivated, because they are struggling with losing weight and wants to work hard 💪🏽 New friend to your channel and hope we can support each other ❤️
I'll be making that one tomorrow so I'll let you know. I'm with you! Whenever I've come across recipes with ground beef slow cooker recipes, they always say brown beef first, but you're right - why?? Stay tuned....
Delicious!!! It cooked up so nice..wasnt all dried out!! I may try that in other recipes. I wonder if it's something to do with there being a lot of water in it. I can't imagine doing that with something with not a lot of liquid.
I used white vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda. Let slat about 10 minutes. You will be very surprised at what you have been consuming. It is disgusting.
