Good to see that your older videos are still delivered in your trademark, clear, concise and reassuringly authoritative fashion. It's good to receive health related information from a true scientist like you Nic. I really appreciate the quality of your channel, your clearly spoken, well articulated delivery and the content of all your videos.
Thank you so much, Gary. I doubt you'd say that about my videos in the first 2-3 years of the channel's existence - it was an ugly sight in those metrics. :) Improvement came in time. Thanks, again.
Good and straight to the point. I have knee pain in my right knee from 23k miles of biking over 10 years. Never tried glucosamine, will try it out starting tonight!
@@Physionic Got this mrmnutrition.com/product/joint-synergy-capsules/. I'm upping the dosage to 3 servings a day, should last 20 days. If it takes away the pain it'll be worth it.
Im glad you agreed with the supplementation of this. A lot of science based guys are saying the data is not conclusive on whether Glucosamine is effective or not. I personally find it helps me a lot after HIIT or weight sessions.
Interesting - I hadn't heard of people taking an anti-glucosamine stance. Although, maybe they were looking at younger, sedentary populations and/or looking at other forms of glucosamine other than sulfate.
Magic29 I can’t say I’ve looked into those, so it would be disingenuous of me to comment an opinion. In the future I’ll be sure to investigate. However, glucosamine is certainly more than just during joint pain as it is vital for healthy function, regardless of supplementation.
Iam ready to purchase this tablet what is the procedure our cortaledger damage so left jt is pain in walking and sitting in ground space left knee jt not folding since 15 yrs is it helpfull to me sir pz give coments
Thank you! Just the information I was after. One clarification, did I understand the duration of taking the supplements is always? I have heard different opinions and suggestions; would you please tell me your recommendation?
1500mg of Glucosamine or 1500mg of Glucosamine sulfate? 1g of Glucosamine sulfate will yield less than a gram of Glucosamine after the sulfate group is removed.
Ok, but how is that useful in treating sports injuries? They are usually related to tendons and ligaments tearing, and they are not made of cartilage (or am i wrong)? Thanks.
