Nick thank you. I am glad I found you at difficult time in my life. I am going through depression and anxiety. Today I did qigong 3 times. It has really helped me and has given me something to do. My savior. God bless you.
This actually works! I've been struggling with depression for years, this exercise is one of the most effective things I would do to feel better, I always feel lighter and better after doing this
This made me feel a little better. I felt safe in this space and loved the shakes, the soft waves-like moves and how it shifted my energy. Thank you for this 🙏🏼
I'm going through a rough time with chronic insomnia and ptsd and have done lots of different qigong videos but this is the first time doing yours and my goooodness this was the best one out there!!! I love how you are so calming, informative and know exactly the best combo of moves! Thank you thank you
Nick you are a gift to humanity! I’m on the recovering path from depression and your videos are immensely helpful and extremely powerful in shifting my state. Really, you make a difference in the world. In my world at least (and since everything is connected…. In the world!). Thank you again you are a wonderful soul!
I was feeling so, so terrible today. Really, really sad and low...and so I thought I'd do a bit of Qi Gong, which led me here to this video and this practice. It seriously, seriously helped. A wonderful transformation, if you will. Thanks so much, Nick. Keep up the good work!
Hello Nick, thx for sharing your knowledge and experience. I used to practice qigong under a guidance of a chinese teacher and due to the language barrier I could not discuss with her my condition and request a specific advice on possible medical application of the exercises. Yet, I experienced frequently emotional release (breaking into tears) during our sessions and wanted to know more about using this practice for getting in touch with represses emotions and transmuting the energy behind it. So I welcome, that there is more content available now on medical qigong. I wish you all the best.
Totally love your teaching. very clear and very informative. Do you offer any online trainings? I have taken a Medical Qi Gong Healer Within certificate program but to be honest, like your style better. I am a yoga Instructor and work mostly with Seniors in Toronto.
Ah great, I grew up in Toronto! I'm not currently running any online teacher certifications, but it is good to know the interest is out there. I will probably put one together soon. In the meantime you may like my Zoom classes, which are daily at 9am. You get more opportunity to ask questions and request things you want to work on. Shoot me an email if you're interested! Hi Nick, I have done this a few times already and I really like it! Thank you. I love you way of teaching. You are easy to follow along and I like that you explain each move. I am new to qigong so I am learning.
Hey there, I really like the style of your videos; just wondering if you have any short 'all rounders' available- I have a teenage daughter who struggles at anything over 5 minutes and I really believe her general health/outlook has improved through Qigong. Appreciate any feedback 🙂
I think your daughter might be able to get through this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eaqtdhoFYCo.html It's under 5 minutes. Came out recently - Sorry I didn't have anything for you before! I hope this one resonates :)
Recently I've had a lot of physical tension and pain in my neck and shoulders and migraines due to worry & overthinking. This video is priceless. Particularly the counterswing, drop and whip has relieved much of this tension and pain. Thank you Nick
These exercises have really helped me .....especially when I feel low and drained of energy due to medical treatment. Particularly liked the shaking horse movements...which instantly made me smile. 😊. Thank you for sharing 🌿
Dear Nick I wanted to heal so much, I practiced your videos, I was very happy and got tendonitis in arm from those movements, no I couldn´t move it like 10 day, I start chigong again but can´t move arm much, it is inflamed, do you think I can adjust movements, or make them just in imagination? Thanks
this qi gong video is really great , it helps to get rid of stress and to have better heath habits , very good teacher and beautiful scenery , the practice is effective and enjoyable , it helps a lot in the situation! thanks from madeleiene and alexandra : good qi
I’m feeling very lonely and unwanted, except for those friends that have four legs and tails. I’ve enjoyed your headache and migraine qi gong & am now going to try this one.
HI what do you know about doing qigong when on relatively heavy medication? I dont have depression but I have had enormous anxiety through the years. I hear you shouldnt take psychiatric meds while practicing certain qigong practices, I have certainly noticed that when doing beginner or intermediate qigong I am ok, but if I try more advanced stuff I get insomnia, and other symptoms when I take my meds at night. I mean when someone takes stuff like antidepressants or antipsychotics. I just wonder if lowering the medication slowly over time would also, over time let me do more intense qigong with no side effects.
Yes, it sounds like you should stick with the qigong that is not giving side effects. Typically for people with mental health issues, qigong should focus more on physical tools such as breath and movement, rather than mental tools like visualization.
New to Qi gong. This was a very helpful exercise, I like your instruction & explanations. A wave of emotion came over me as I finished the exercise. Is it normal to cry afterwards?
This looks good, I just wish I could join the standing practice! Would love to see a seated version. I have end stage arthritis of both hips, awaiting surgery. I am grieving the loss of my partner and some close friends, but all of this compounded by living with pain and the loss of my mobility. Thank you for these offerings 🙏
That was great! This qigong stuff really does work- I was laughing out loud by the time we got to the 'vibrating horse' 🤣🐎 Thanks so much for the uplifting practice~
I appreciate the beautiful locations you film your videos. On this cloudy December day in Michigan I was glad to spend 15 minutes on the sunny west coast.
Excellent Nick, love the shaking exercise, this is the best for imitating what animals do after stress. Will use that for my coaching client today :) We need to shake more often to free us from trauma energies stuck in the body.
So glad I searched for Qigong for depression and found you! Just what I needed to lift me up. Completely shifted me out of feeling low. I will definitely be doing this daily. Thank You!
